“It was our first time there. Overall our waitress was extremely on top of things and she was pregnant so I give her a lot of credit for that I got the chicken wings they could have been a little bit more garlicky and a little bit more parmesan to give it more flavor the pizza was okay just a regular one a little thin the drinks were good overall is pretty reasonably priced I think the mozzarella appetizer was pretty good could have been a little bit hotter we didn't realize that it had a bar area bro that's probably where we would sit a little bit more entertaining“

“Lily J is one of the best servers I've ever had . Pays attention and asks how everything is or do we need anything and made sure we didn't have a month full or just took a bite . “We ordered a salad topped with salmon, French Onion Soup and the sirloin and mashed potatoes. The salad was crisp and fresh, and the salmon served medium as ordered. It was very good. The French onion soup was excellent with plenty of onions in a tasty broth. The sirloin was cooked medium as ordered. It tasted great but was a bit tough to chew. Service was very good - friendly and efficient.“

“Franks is the typical hole in the wall and those of you that have read my reviews know I love these places. The service is good at Franks and the bartenders are friendly and can carry a conversation. Atmosphere is very eclectic - see my pictures. The food specials are a deal so make sure to check those out. I had the cowboy burger on this visit but have also had the NY strip which is good. The cowboy burger is sautéd onions, cheddar, bacon and candied jalapeños. Handmade burger and very tasty. Only complaint is the burger was thick but not wide enough to cover the bun. “Bar Lucci is the newest bar in Kent and honestly one of the best! They have live music all the time, ping pong, cheap AND amazing drinks, and a GREAT patio! If you plan on traveling to Kent and never been before, make sure to add Bar Lucci to your list of places you can’t miss!“

“Food and vibes at The River Merchant were so good! Probably the best Caesar salad I've ever had, and the added blackened chicken was perfect. Our server Lorelei was great, and suggested leaving our beer cheese behind from the pretzel app for our fries which was such a clutch suggestion. The salmon croquettes were also delicious. “I can’t recommend Baxter’s Speakeasy enough. It’s the best spot in Akron for a uniquely boutique vibe and the most wonderfully crafted cocktails created by mixology magicians. The vibe is just *right* and it’s exactly what you would want from a speakeasy. The private parties are a charcuterie paradise of sheer meat and cheese wizardry so I definitely recommend inquiring within for your next party.“

“If there are any problems with Bartenders or an employee get ahold of Chuck Korver owner. Any concerns you have, safety and or liabilities talk to Chuck and give him a chance to handle it. Any problems with other customers call Chuck about it. He will deal with it. Read reviews where someone was using Laundromat next door. Then went to leave. But Couldnt bc blocked in. Again call Chuck so he can take care of it and the customers violating fire code. Customers that bring there drinks out the bar outside Call Chuck. He will make sure customers are compliant. Chuck doesn't put up with bologna.“

“Relaxing cocktail bar with dim lighting, unique furniture, indoor and patio accommodations. Kitchen food is limited but good. The stars of the show are the strong, unique cocktails. The Lavender Bees Knees is a must have every time I go there, but the drink menu does change. I go to this business frequently. The only reason not 5 stars is the service. I've had too many negative service interactions to give 5 stars. Even so, I still recommend this business to everyone I know who enjoys a stiff drink. Call ahead because this place is usually very busy.“

“I love this place. Great food, great friends, great prices. But they have a bartender named rosie who is absolutely rude to the point where you just feel sad for her. She's off at 5 mon-fri. If you enjoy watching a miserable person treat customers poorly and get joy out of it, rosie is your girl. Also don't bother coming here for food when she's here. She said she avoids making food hoping you get drunk and forget about the food. You're better off coming later when one of the nicer bartenders are here.“

“We were in town for a concert and decided to stop by Ray's for a late lunch/early dinner. Ray's is a super casual townie bar. Service was quick and friendly. They offer a good variety of local beer options as well as old standards. My husband ordered the cheeseburger and onions rings. They were great, he said the burger tasted fresh off the bbq! I ordered the poutine fries - the serving is more than enough to share with a group and oh was it good. The meat was smoky and delicious and the fries were crisp- so good. We would definitely recommend Ray's and return if we're in town!“

“I attended many of Ingy's early piano bar sessions. I am older and dropped of many year back now. I have a 96 year old Mother I am taking care of and really cannot easily get away . I was never a singer much as I would like to be. All that being said I thoroughly enjoyed piano bar , many nice people there, Ingy always made me feel welcome , she has a wonderful personality , and can play anything. She has a crisma about her that just makes you feel so at home . I am sorry she has been under the weather , and hope she recovers soon , and can start enjoying life to the fullest !
