“I like coming to this McDonald's. They are very friendly and everyone is so nice and helpful. They always have good music playing in the back. The place always look great. Inside and out. Clean tables, floors and bathrooms. It's the only fast food place around unless you want Subway. But Subway doesn't have a drive thru. Best McDonald's restaurant I've ever been to in Ohio. I fully recommend this place!“

These guys consistently get my order right 9/10 from online and are generous with ingredient portions. The tacos here are absolutely spot-on. The shells are always fresh and perfectly crisp, giving that satisfying crunch with every bite. The seasoned beef is flavorful and juicy, and the toppings—shredded lettuce, cheese, and just the right amount of sauce—are always fresh and generously portioned. They have a great variety too, from classic hard and soft tacos to their specialty tacos that are full of bold flavor. You can tell they take care to make sure each taco is made right.

But let’s be honest—the real MVP might just be the Potato Olés. These crispy, golden rounds are the perfect mix of crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside, with seasoning that’s downright addictive. They’re great on their own, but when you pair them with one of Taco John’s dipping sauces (especially the nacho cheese or sour cream), they’re on another level. I’ve honestly gone there just for Potato Olés more than once, and I have no regrets.

The staff is always friendly and efficient, making sure orders come out quickly and accurately, even during busy times. The restaurant is clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere is casual and welcoming. Prices are fair for the quality and portions you get, and I appreciate that I can enjoy a tasty meal without spending a lot.

“The food was great, Mandy and Brandon work seamlessly as a team and Jordan was awesome at backing up the other two. The reason I gave only 3 stars on atmosphere was because this place is in desperate need of renovations inside and out! The parking lot is small and riddled with potholes, one of which is big enough to loose a small car inside, the drive through is extremely awkward to get in, the inside is kinda dull, but clean. The inside could definitely use a whole renovation, seriously doubt a fresh coat of paint would help.“

“Ice cream was delicious. Fries were not fresh so they had to make new. Tried to go again but lobby was shut down which was unfortunate because they were having a ball game so lots of people wanted to walk over but couldn't so I didn't get anything“

“Ya know, I never really understood the concept of eating fish to the fullest until I went here. Once you enter, you are greeted with a fishing rod and a 12 gallon bucket of earth worms. They bring you to a bus where you embark on a 13 hour drive to an unknown location in the middle of what seemed to be a forest. My family and I were told we must fish in the depths of the rivers in order to receive the food we were paying for. Johnny (my 7 year old) was taken by a lion and Christine(my 12 year old) sprained both her ankles and her wrists. We caught two sun fish in 32 hours. The bus came and picked us up where we were transported back to the restaurant. Cooked to perfection. Only payed 79 dollars for the two sun fish. Great customer service.“

“Had our breakfast order completely wrong, called them and they were into lunch already but management remade the complete order anyway to make it right. McDonalds is what it is but I like this location because management does their job and treats people right!“

“I ordered a McDouble and they didn't even give me my meat, how do you forget the meat on a burger??.. then today I just got home and this is what my burger look like.. most of the time their orders are very sloppy they barely get the Burger on the Buns in the meats always undercooked“

“yes I recommend burger king. but have seen things when I worked there. let me explain...... I see everyday where they are hiring. I put in an application here and because I did what I felt to be the right thing they won't hire me. This is what happened.. years ago I worked there. One of the workers took her little kids to work with her and let them go in the back where the fryers are. The kids were maybe 6-7 yrs old. I went to management about kids being around the fryers and being allowed to make sandwiches for the customers. Nothing was done about it. So I walked out. Was I wrong. Should little kids of 6-7 be allowed to be in the back around the fryers and should kids of 6-7 be allowed to make sandwiches for customers. I want to work. I have about 15 yrs experience with burger king. But they won't hire me. Because I left. It was a very bad situation and I wanted no part of those kids getting burned or worse by hot grease in the fryers.“

“I just watched the smoothest running McDonald's in Athens Ohio. Travis and Jeremiah and their crew just killed it. Had a full house already and then 2 buses pulled in. I thought this is going to be a nightmare. It wasn't they ran like a well oiled machine. Food was hot and service was amazing.“
