We only get back to Shelby once or twice a year, and this has become a 'go to' spot to meet up with friends. The service was top notch and ended up getting the fajita dinner for two which comes with chicken, steak, shrimp and chorizo opted not to have the chorizo in our dinner and for only $25 for dinner for two with plenty of leftovers to take home, this is a budget friendly place definitely would recommend giving this place a try if you have never been here.”

Their especially pizzas are definitely top-notch. we ordered the Everything Pizza and also the BBQ Chicken Pizza along with some other items. Their chicken and jojos were good and crispy. Their garlic cheese bread was really good also. I ordered some wings, and they were fantastic. There was a crispy breading on them, which stayed super crispy even with the sauce. Their Pepperoni Pizza and their Cheese Pizza were average, definitely not the same level as their Specialty Pizzas. They offer Dine in. However, the area is a little small if you have a larger party. The service was good, I think we took them for surprise with such a large group on a Sunday evening, but they did a great job.”

The only thing I'd say bad is I ordered a chicken burrito and you would think it would have something is in other than just meat but nope it didn't have rice, beans onions or nothing besides chicken in it. The food is always very good though. The queso is great and so is the salsa. The portion sizes here are fantastic. Our waiter was great. We will be back.Parking: Always a place to park. Big parking lot.Kid-friendliness: There was kids there as well as my child and it's a place you can bring kids to.”

“To this day this is probably the best Chinese takeout I have ever had. It is always fresh and flavorful no matter what my family and I order. Our food is always ready in the time frame they specify and I have rarely waited more than 5 minutes if I arrive on time.The Sweet and Sour chicken is my favorite thing to order and my wife loves their Cashew Chicken. The Crab Rangoons are on the sweeter side, but still delicious. If you like Egg Rolls and Spring Rolls, those are also a solid choice. Crunchy on the outside and not soggy or under/overdone. Their fried rice is phenomenal, full of vegetables and whatever meat you prefer, unlike some other restaurants in the area who tend to have very bland fried rice. I can safely say I have never had anything bad from Hot Wok and I highly recommend it if you enjoy Takeout.They recently reopened the lobby and there is no longer the COVID shielding in place, so picking up orders is no longer awkward. The owners are super friendly and keep the restaurant clean. If you're looking around for good Chinese takeout, you have to give this place a shot. I have never been disappointed. New Hot Wok in Mansfield is a close second, but I believe its the same family or at least relatives that own it.Vegetarian options: The vegetables are good, they don't dry them out by overcooking them and they're well seasoned/sauced.Parking: Small parking lot, but it's a takeout place so there's plenty of parking.”

“In town for work. Overall experience was great, server was pleasant, food was good. I got wings an a steak. Wings were cooked to perfection. I’m pretty sure they gave me the wrong cut of steak. My co-worker an I both ordered the ribeye, his steak was perfect, mind was twice as thick an definitely different, I tasted his and was totally different. When I asked about it I was told it’s the ribeye so I kept eating. The other thing was, I was barely into eating my appetizer (wings) and they brought my entree out.
