“5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One great thing about this place besides the great food, staff, and service compared to ANY OTHER RESTAURANT in town is these people understand what their posted hours truly mean. . If the post theyre open 7am to 3pm and I walk in this place at2:59pm I get to sit down and eat! I've NEVER EVER heard them say,"well the kitchen is already closed and we close at 3pm. Try that at any other restaurant in town and see what happens“

“Jen took excellent care of us. The food is exceptionally stick to your ribs. 4 Egg omelette, pumpkin pancakes that are as big as your head! Fluffy and tender! Clearly MaMa’s knows how to feed you. Prices are extremely reasonable and when you have to waddle out, you know you’ve had a great experience!“

“We had a birthday party here with about 30 people. Kim was so helpful and kind with the planning process. On the actually night, all our guests had delicious meals with fast service. Our waitresses were efficient and friendly the whole time. All the food is amazing. I've never had a bad meal here. This has become one of my favorite places to eat downtown. Go visit them, you won't be sorry! Fantastic food!“

“We had a funeral luncheon at Shorty's. The manager was very helpful in making the arrangements. We had special requests which were handled expertly. The wait staff was attentive and followed up with the guests to make sure that they had what they wanted. The staff took our worries away as we did not know how many people would come and we were told that they would cook more if we needed it. They packed up leftovers and gave us everything that was left over. We wanted special music and they allowed one of our guests to bring in a speaker and hook it up. We were also allowed to stay beyond the scheduled hours and we appreciated that also.“

“Food is almost always on point! Service is great! Personally I wish it was not so loud. The music is so loud that you aren’t able to hold a conversation with the family/friends you are sitting with. “Rating is actually 4.8. My husband and I had lunch there today, he ordered fish and chips and I ordered a Reuben sandwich. The fish and chips were good but the meat in my Reuben was tough and gristly. My husband asked for the manager and he, himself, re-made the sandwich and it was perfect. It was the most tender corned beef ever. I think they have the best Reuben in the Toledo area.“

The manager came over to help the gentleman. She hands me,$.60 and says he overcharged me. I responded with, "I have not paid yet?" But told me to pull ahead. The next window handed me a drink, and I told her I did not pay yet, but she handed my food and said, "Don't worry about it, and to have a great day! So they paid me $.60 to get a #5 combo! Okay, then!“

“I went here for my birthday with a few friends and it was a great time, the music and atmosphere were on point the whole time and our server Hannah was super helpful and present the whole time, honestly some of the best service I've ever had, and I personally ordered the Sriracha Honey Chicken sandwich and it was delicious and hot, and the tater tots it came with were perfectly cooked, a great experience overall, and I'd definitely come again!“

“It was a stormy night in Toledo, OH, and i was coming into one of the toughest assignments the bureau have ever handed down, a pretty lady. The brass had been pretty strict on this, take her to the greatest bar in the greatest town ever. She said "Toledo?" inquisitively. That's right lady, mfing Toledo. I strolled in early to scope out the joint. It was classy, but not too classy. After all, im just a rough n tumble agent, on the edge with a five oclock shadow. I needed something strong, that makes me feel manly, so ordered up 2 Gummy Bear shots and a Corona to appear more masculine. In walks the target. She's bold and beautiful. Will i complete this assignment?? Can i really give her Ye Olde Cock and Ye Olde Bull Experience?? Will the Walleyes win the Caulder Cup?!?!?! So many questions ran through my pretty little agent brain. Then, all of a sudden, i lock eyes with Dani the bartender. She looks at me over her oddly shaped and colorful glasses and conveys the thought that was the epitome of fear deep in my guts. The girl is KGB and has been sent to end this haphazard agent's existence. Before i could say "The Best Burger in Toledo", Dani swept all the glasses in front of us to the side with one leg, while unsheathing the pair of nunchucks she had hidden. With the speed of Michelangelo eating pizza, she dethroned the Spy off her barstool and drug her out by her Soviet hair, all while asking the patrons on the way to the door if they needed more drinks. She gets her do the door and does a roundhouse Patrick Swayze would envy, sending her into Right Field of the Toledo Mudhens Ball Park. She turns back to the bar, weapon in hand and says: "We like to 'chuck' around here at Ye Olde Cock N' Bull" Don't forget to try the French Fries!“

I got told my tots would be super hot so be careful, they all were so sweet and kind and made my burger and sundae to perfection!! The tots were hot and crispy and everything was just awesome!!!! They only add minimal overall sales while lowering your sales/hour and hurt your labor since you have to keep your staff there and paid which cost more than the profit gained usually..... so I am very happy that when my 80yo grandmother wanted 4 quarts of Dairy Queen ice cream because all the others upset her stomach at the last half hour that not only did she get it but the staff was friendly and you would never have known they were just ready to go home after a long shift. “Hands down, my favorite restaurant ever. You just can't go wrong with a Big Boy, with tarter sauce on it, and a side of crispy fries. I have ordered the same thing every time since I was a kid. If I see a Big Boy while out doing things, I make it a point to stop in for a bite. They never disappoint. The service is always fast and friendly, and the prices are right!
