“Carnales catered our daughter's quinceañera. The food was amazing!!! The service was outstanding. They delivered and set up promptly and took it down as well. We had so much left over. I'll be eating Mexican for days. The entire party raved about how wonderful the food was. I've eaten there before. The quesa birria is outstanding. 10/10 recommend. 5 stars.“

“They made our date night dinner amazing. The food was amazing. It was hard to choose because everything sounded great on the menu. Golden Mango margarita was so tasty. Everything was perfect. Our waitress, Xochitl, was the best and gave great info. Going to come back and check out the music bingo/ karaoke nights and the lunch buffet!“

“I can't say enough great things about this restaurant. My wife and I have been to every Mexican cuisine restaurant around the MI/OH border in the Toledo vicinity. We have never had a bad meal. Always great, and as an added plus their margaritas are Best in Toledo. The staff is fantastic, and the food comes out hot and quick. We stopped in once again last night. It doesn't get better than this!“

“I'm on a mission to shout out about this restaurant. The prices are a little high in my opinion, but... (1) the food is worth it, and (2) I am spoiled by the prices in Detroit's Mexicantown, where there is a lot more competition for Mexican food. Mi novio, quien es de Jalisco, México, le gusta mucho la comida de El Tajín. So if Oscar says it's good food, I KNOW it's good, authentic Mexican food. The elote is TO. DIE. FOR In my humble opinion. If you want really great Mexican food in the Toledo area, I cannot recommend this place enough. Try street taco Thursdays ($2 street tacos) if you're skeptical, because at $2 a taco you can't lose. I think once you've experienced El Tajín's food you will become a believer.“

“Usually places attached to a mall are just average, but Don Juan's really exceeds this level. Had the Fiesta Nachos with beef, shrimp, chorizo, and zucchini, very good, and enough for both my wife and I. Nice atmosphere, wait staff is super attentive and friendly. What can I say, check out this place if you haven't!“

“Yummy carne asada torta. Meat had good flavor. Always appreciate when restaurants grill the torta bread. Also, I’m picky about my toppings, they got my order correct and was quick service. Cute little place. I at first showed up at one of the chain San Marcos and thought about just going in but I’m glad I made the effort to go here.“

“Lunch plans changed due to everything we tried being closed and a local told us about this place and WOW! I’m so glad the others closes! What a way to start 2024 and my last day here before heading home to TX! The food and margaritas were awesome! “This Mexican Restaurant is in a nice location, close to one if the malls in toledo. If you are craving Mexican food, this is a good choice.
Large menu, plenty of different options that include traditional and Tex-Mex. And the atmosphere is like the traditional Pueblos.
I got the Enchiladas Surpreme, which gave you 4 different ones, only 2 had meat though which was slightly disappointing. Nonetheless the food tasted good. The queso blanco we ordered was good and the chips were large similar to On The Border.
This place offers 10% of to U of Toledo students that bring their ID which was a nice touch.“

“We just had dinner and the food was very good. The restaurant was very clean, the lighting was perfect. The music was nice, not too loud, not too quiet. Our server was very attentive and didn't rush us, even though it was after traditional dinner hour on a Sunday. The food was delicious, quickly prepared, and piping hot. “We were looking for a place to eat, and happened to drive past Palacio Maya Mexican Restaurant. We decided to try it, and we were not disappointed. The selection of food items for vegetarians was amazing with plenty of items to choose from. The staff were quick, efficient and friendly. We would definitely eat here again.
Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian items to choose from in a separate section of the menu. The beans do not have lard in them, which is also a plus.“
