“I can't say enough great things about this restaurant. My wife and I have been to every Mexican cuisine restaurant around the MI/OH border in the Toledo vicinity. We have never had a bad meal. Always great, and as an added plus their margaritas are Best in Toledo. The staff is fantastic, and the food comes out hot and quick. We stopped in once again last night. It doesn't get better than this!“

(1) the food is worth it, and (2) I am spoiled by the prices in Detroit's Mexicantown, where there is a lot more competition for Mexican food. If you want really great Mexican food in the Toledo area, I cannot recommend this place enough. Try street taco Thursdays ($2 street tacos) if you're skeptical, because at $2 a taco you can't lose. I think once you've experienced El Tajín's food you will become a believer.“

“We were looking for a place to eat, and happened to drive past Palacio Maya Mexican Restaurant. We decided to try it, and we were not disappointed. The selection of food items for vegetarians was amazing with plenty of items to choose from. The staff were quick, efficient and friendly. We would definitely eat here again.

Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian items to choose from in a separate section of the menu. The beans do not have lard in them, which is also a plus.“

“This Mexican Restaurant is in a nice location, close to one if the malls in toledo. If you are craving Mexican food, this is a good choice.

Large menu, plenty of different options that include traditional and Tex-Mex. And the atmosphere is like the traditional Pueblos.

I got the Enchiladas Surpreme, which gave you 4 different ones, only 2 had meat though which was slightly disappointing. Nonetheless the food tasted good. The queso blanco we ordered was good and the chips were large similar to On The Border.

This place offers 10% of to U of Toledo students that bring their ID which was a nice touch.“
