“It was busy, but understandably. Parking is always horrid at the location I visited. The food was good! I think for $13 the crown jewel could have a bit more lobster. My vegetarian street tacos were incredibly greasy/oily but overall a good flavor.Vegetarian options: There are two or three decent vegetarian selections aside from a cheese taco or Quesadilla. There are a few options but not many. I do know, as a vegetarian, I hate finding meat in my veggie taco from not cleaning the grill or something of that sort. I have not found this to be the case here. That is well respected.Parking: There is paid parking all around location using meters. There’s also a couple parking garages that many use due to not being able to find parking. We ended up parking in front of the district and walked about 4 blocks to grab our take out and go. It wasn’t a bad walk, just more chilly than desired.Kid-friendliness: There was nothing I noticed that wouldn’t be kid friendly. There were kids right outside waiting and playing as soon of the street was closed for outdoor dining.“

“I went with a friend a few days ago on a coworker's recommendation and I am so glad I took it. This restaurant is so cute, the bar was gorgeous and I loved the "Ivy wall" decorations. We were there right around dinner time and our food came out so fast. It felt like we had just ordered and bam the food was there. I had the Beef Chimichangas with rice and beans it was so good. My friend got a chicken burrito, the chicken was seasoned very well. I also got a margarita so tasty. I will definitely be back to try more of their food.“

“Went for an early Monday lunch today after hearing about it. Was very pleased! The staff brought tiny samples of the horchata, tepache and aqua fresca and I ended up buying a tepache. Fantastic drink! They also explained how they like to eat the cucumber slices and its probably my new favorite way to eat cucumber!I had a chicken and steak taco (going to try birria and chorizo next) and they were both so flavorful but not greasy at all. Everything felt light and fresh. I didn't leave feeling stuffed and heavy like Mexican food can sometimes feel. The blue corn tortillas were probably my favorite thing as something that really stands out from other mexican restaurants around. They are made in house and are soft and pliable and didn't fall apart. They are what they use to make their chips as well, which are also awesome. I can't wait to come back and try more yummy items!Parking: Plenty of parking behind the building.“

We were seated immediately with a warm welcome as soon as we entered the restaurant ??. “Everytime I've been here the waitresses or waiters have ALWAYS been so nice and helpful. The food was always fresh and is delicious ik. I love their Birrias specially, but everything there is delicious and packed with flavor. Their salsa verde is also delicious and not overly spicy. The atmosphere of the place is warm and welcoming, as well as beautifully decorated. I went for my 21st in august and I do not at all regret going there. Truly one of my favorite places. Thank you!“

“This was our first visit so I decided to order from the lunch menu. I decided on the fish tacos with rice and beans. The tacos were very tasty. I tasted the beans , not bad but I don't usually like them. My wife ordered the dinner portion of fajitas with chicken and shrimp, it was tasty and flavorful. My wife likes spicy sauces and she asked for the house made sauce. It was a bit too spicy for me with a little heat on the back end. Our server was very attentive, he refilled our water glasses. The food came out hot and on point. The restaurant has a nice decor, the bar looks impressive with plenty of televisions in sight. Nice place to eat. Lunch menu prices are good, if the dinner menu is representative of what my got on her plate. The cost is reasonable“

“We came in with a party of 4 adults and 3 children and were sat right away. Fresh chips and salsa came out immediately. I thought the salsa was excellent-- great flavor, and I did not think it was too "tomatoey" at all. The queso was great. The margaritas were on special and they are adorable--fancy garnish, little umbrella, and even had a light inside! Very cool! The food was delicious-- even good the next day! Portions were substantial. The tacos came out on a lazy susan, which was fun! Kids and adults enjoyed their meals. Not to mention, a nice ambiance. We debated if we liked it better than Vera Cruz! “This was my husband and my first time having Taqueria y Pupuseria Mari. We each got a pork and cheese pupusa and a pork, bean, and cheese pupusa with mild sauce and red sauce. Last minute, we decided to add two quesa birrias. First, I have to say the customer service was top tier. I have anxiety so trying new places can be hard for me. I prefer to be able to look at the menu ahead of time so I can say exactly what I want when I go in because I worry that I’ll look stupid otherwise. I did not feel that way at all when we went in though. I didn’t feel like I was being a bother when I asked what was in something and she actually told us about some menu items without us even asking, giving us recommendations of popular menu items since it was our first time. The food was absolutely delicious, too. My husband and I both loved everything about it. I don’t like cole slaw in general so I didn’t get that but my husband doesn’t mind it so he decided to try the spicy slaw. He said if he liked cole slaw rather than just tolerated it, that would be how he would eat it because it was really good that way.This restaurant doesn’t look like much from the outside but aren’t those usually the best ones? I can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu!“

“I have already reviewed Veracruz, but I just keep noticing more of the details that make the experience so good. The first thing that arrives at your table (or bar) is fresh salsa and fresh chips. That makes a huge difference in meal enjoyment. It sets the bar high for the rest of the meal, but also opens the pallet up to enjoy more of the subtle flavors of fresh food made with care. I suspect they use less salt or other flavor enhancers than other restaurants which allows you to really taste things. Also top shelf alcohol goes into all their drinks. Feeling good after eating and drinking well is the result.“

I got a huge California burrito for $14 however, my brother ordered the ribeye and it tasted good but was very thin and not worth the $20+ price. Do yourself a flavor and try their homemade hot and mild sauce. The hot had great smoky flavor with a slow burn heat that lingers just long enough to be enjoyable. “This place was fantastic! We arrived around prime dining time (5pm) on Saturday night. When we arrived they were quick to seat us outside (party of 6). The facility was super clean and the staff were all extremely kind. While dining, if we were low on beverages or chips and salsa, a waiter would see it and refill it even before we could ask, and it wasn’t just our waiter, just any waiter. The food selection is fantastic and they are very accommodating on making any changes to a dish if need be. The pricing is also fantastic, as well as the food! We got the table side guacamole and it was fresh and the serving was very large for the price. The adult beverages are also very good, we paired a sangria margarita with fajita nachos and it was a great combo. The dessert menu is also very large and ranges from cheesecake to cannoli, as well as traditional Mexican dishes. They are handicap accessible and have one indoor level and two outdoor levels. We cannot wait to come back and dine!“

“I stopped here for a quick to go order. I purchased the Carne Asada burrito. It was worth $10.50 as it was stacked with steak and lots of guacamole. The meat could have used more seasoning, in my opinion. The red sauce was awesome and helped with flavor. The green sauce was very good as well.“
