“The food was amazingly fresh and tasty. The service was excellent. The gentleman was able to guide me through my gluten free options. I highly recommend this place.Dietary restrictions: There are lots of choices for gluten free, dairy free and vegetarian.“
“This place is great, warm friendly inviting. Excellent food. Lindsay and every single person behind that line is absolutely fantastic. There are days I go in that restaurant dragging from working super long days. I look forward to the food because it’s so comforting and nourishing aside from that each person is just beautiful warm friendly, inviting. I look forward to just walking through the line and having that experience interacting briefly with them. It’s a great way to end my day. I remember growing up in Shaker as a child and there being a Bob’s big boy on the corner where Wendy’s is and Draggers ice cream over where Walgreens is now located. Draggers was a special place my mom used to take me and my sister, I have still have the fondest of. memories. Brassica fills me with that same welcoming kind experience I had before this area was known as the Van Aken District. Thank you for being so fantastic.“
“We were looking for a neighborhood gem, something local and not chain. This place was perfect!Owner greeted us when we walked in. Very friendly and kind! The food was delicious and more than enough! We both got the classic gyro w/feta. The baklava was incredible! With food + drinks for 2 and dessert it was around $40. Seems kinda steep, but for authentic and post covid I think these will be the normal prices we see for local eats.Overall great experience!“
“I absolutely loved my visit to Pita Potle. There is so much variety in their middle eastern cuisine and I absolutely loved everything. But I need to mention their mixed bowl was to die for and I could eat that every day for the rest of my life.Vegetarian options: The falafel is extremely crunchy and is so savory on the inside.“
“This place is adorable, from the hobbit-hole-esque front door to the hand thrown mugs that the beverages come in. It's a very artsy hang out down Murray Hill in Little Italy. The tea and pastries were delicious and really well priced. My friend and I each had a chai, and I had a piece of the baklava. The chai tea came out as a lightly sweetened chai latte, that was made from real tea. So good! We were charmed by the mugs and really enjoyed the interior and the vibes. This is the kind of place you can go with friends and stay for a while. I have the feeling this is a popular and underrated breakfast spot, too! I intend to come back after a class at CLE Yoga. Note - mostly street parking with an itty bitty parking lot in the back.“
“The food tastes really good, the coffee is also okay, but the portions are very small for the prices! You shouldn't go there if you're really hungry.Vegetarian options: There are a relatively large number of dishes that are suitable for vegetarians, with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables.“
“Ate here very often while on military orders from the coast guard. Food is amazing and the owner is very nice. His food delicious but there's only one chef. Takes 10 minutes for him to make your orders. But the smoothies and sandwiches were always our favorites. He loves to go out of his way to help us. To the point where one time we came in ordered and forget a sandwich at the shop and he left and drove it to us on his own accord. He even went as far as to give us his personal number to order food before they opened for the day so we could text him our order and he'd start making it before they opened.Parking: It's downtown. Paid parking in the street.“
“Went for a birthday dinner and I am happy she chose this place. This place was so good. A 5-star experience that I did not expect. Because of the location you would think it was just an average restaurant but this place is offering a fine dining experience. I loved my cocktail it was perfectly made. I ordered the crab cakes for an appetizer they weren't bad but they weren't great either. My entree was as seafood pasta. It was a little pricy but for the portion size and quality it was definitely worth it.i I will definitely go there again.“
“The bartenders and servers were excellent! The entire staff clearly is in a groove and support one another well. We had six dishes, between four of us, which was the perfect amount along with some beverages. Food quality and creativity was incredible. The atmosphere is contemporary yet comfortable. A bit loud but that is also part of the energy here. Prices are inline with the experience. Looking forward to our next visit!“
“Middle Eastern Cafe with fresh, healthy choices and efficient service. We booked a large party for a work celebration and it was perfect. Everyone loved their food, and the vibe is quiet enough to carry on a conversation. The only caution is that parking can be tricky, so allow more time to find a spit (CH is repairing one of the parking garages).“
“I have been coming here for over 20 years, and it is always a great experience. They have a nice selection of Mederatrain and Middle Eastern grocery and delicous ready to eat food. Great place for a fast, delicious, and inexpensive lunch, or to pick up ingredients to cook fabulously at home.“
“Amazing food!! This place is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I got the lamb and beef as well as the chicken gyro. Both were amazing but I preferred the lamb and beef. I thought I would be able to eat both but there’s no way. One was plenty big.I’ll definitely be back.“
“Ordered my food online and it said 20 min pick up my drive was 18 min and as I walked in the guy behind the counter asked "Steven?" which told me 2 things 1 these guys pay attention to the details of each customer and that the food was going to be amazing and I wasn't disappointed. I got a chicken and a beef shawarma and they were both top notch and they don't use the same seasonings on both which was nice. The sauce and pickles that came with it were absolutely perfect pairing. I ordered 3 desserts a pistachio cake which was moist and perfectly sweet. A chocolate moouse cake that was decadant and rich. The tirimisu was perfect however. The ladyfingers on bottom were just perfectly saturated with expresso and it was the highlight of my meal 10/10“
“The food was phenomenal. Get the sautéed calamari appetizer. There is SO much calamari for such a great price. Our server Yassine was amazing as well. Super friendly and knowledgeable about everything. Will come again if we have the chance!“
“I found this place on a whim. I wanted real food nothing processed and authentic. When I tell you the lamb plate and chicken schwarna with fattouche and hummus was to die for it's an understatement! Simply delicious! I'll be back..hopefully today. You need to eat here.?“
“Another great restaurant by Cedar and Lee. We've been here twice in the past month after making the good decision to come here for a birthday celebration. The food is a bit pricey, but honestly, I don't mind - compared to times I've spent money on food that isn't worth it, this is far better! The staff are friendly and helpful - Ishmael was our first waiter and had great recommendations (can't remember our second guy, but he was great, too!). We've had the moussaka, filet mignon kebabs, an assortment of hot and cold appetizers, and some great desserts. The entree's are generously portioned, cooked perfectly medium rare, and not overwhelmingly seasoned. The feta and olive appetizer is probably our favorite app - so fresh! I also recommend their sangria - they mentioned they soak the fruit in the wine, and it's so good! This place is a must-visit for great food, ambiance, and apps. Can't recommend enough!“
“I love Best Gyros, I came upon them on DoorDash and I ordered a gyro and chili cheese fries and it was soooo good. They have their days when the food doesn’t taste how it should because of the difference cooks, I just recently ordered some food and even though I had a great portion of gyro meat, it was soooo salty which was disappointing! I recommend this eatery!“
“I love Aladdins! And Sittoos. I was a long time Westsider and patronized Sittoos every Sunday. Now that I moved East, I patronize this Aladdins location often. I treated one of my friends to lunch as she had never tried Lebanese cuisine before this. She got the Cranberry Salad. It was beautiful and she said the chicken was well seasoned and perfectly cooked. I had the Flavor Savor Platter. It came out room temperature, yet the chicken, hummus, rice and salata were delicious. The beef Kafta was well seasoned but over cooked. As always, the garlic and hot sauce were amazing. We started with the fried cauliflower. It was well seasoned, crispy and delicious. The pita was soft and yummy as always. The olive oil added that umph. Next time I'll ask for a sprinkle of zaatar. I also had a tropical smoothie and hot mint tea. The strawberry cake was so light and not too sweet. Our server was super busy as she was handling multiple tables, but friendly and efficient. My only gripe was that there was another server sorting silverware at the empty table next to us. She was throwing it across the table and making so much noise. We couldn't talk over her. Before we could say something, the hostess who greeted us came from the back and signaled her back to the kitchen. I appreciate that the staff were professional about handling it.I love that Aladdins is local, family owned, healthy and elegant to dine in.“
“Came here for the first time today and Ms. Stella was an absolute QUUUUUEEN! She was so welcoming to me and my gay friend it’s lovely to know we are safe while snacking on falafel. First faygo friendly falafel place we have been to in forever! Honestly couldn’t have had a better experience! ?“
“EXCELLENT take-out food. I like to create a customized "bowl" of salad greens, grilled chicken, and hummus. Their baba ganoush is also delicious. Everything is always fresh, and service is friendly.Parking: Parallel parking is only on the street. It's not usually crowded, because so much of their business is take-out.“
