“Great dive bar, very welcoming and warm. Covered patio with a heated section! One of the gals made me an amazing margarita for only $3.50! Nice, clean bathroom. Simple, good food too.
I'd say overall one of the best dive bars I've been to!“

“I’ve never had a bad time at Eight and Sand. The food is beyond impressive and it is reasonably priced. You will not catch me missing the $1 wings every Tuesday and the veggie wrap is incredible. Don’t sleep on the weekly food specials they are always a tasty little surprise! Friendly outgoing staff all around, an awesome patio, and a chill vibe inside. It’s my very favorite bar, there isn’t another like it!“

“Love this place, but really? Kitchen closes at 9pm during Ohio State and Notre Dame Championship game that started at 730. It’s 9pm, the house is packed, not an empty seat, not even halftime and the kitchen is closed. And they call themselves the number one place to watch the Buckeyes…kitchen would be opened if I ran this place.“

“First time coming to this 2 in 1 place also Black Owned Ridiculous Eatz. Excellent service. Our waitress was Melissa G. She was very nice and pleasant. The wings was Excellent. We had Buffalo, BBQ, and Hot Garlic (that wasn’t mentioned on the menu, but our waitress told us about it ). Also had the cabbage and collard greens blend. Very good. Had some Cajun fries. They were delicious. Food came out hot. Will definitely be returning.“

“I hadn't been here in a while, but stopped in today because I was early for lunch with a buddy.
I have been here before and will be back. Friendly staff, reasonable prices on drinks, and just a great atmosphere. What more can you ask for out of a pub?
I've never had the food mind you. I should probably try it out next time I stop in.“

“We were in town for a Buckeyes game. Our AirBnb was about two blocks away so this was so convenient. We loved everything about it. The atmosphere as soon as we walked in, we knew we’d love it. The owner greeted us at the door and welcomed us. We had the pizza which was great! The pretzels were also amazing!!! Would definitely recommend!“

“Had a great dinner before the Penguins and Blue Jacket game. The staff all hustled and the food was good, but when we got back to our hotel after the game we realized we left our toddlers blanket. Donovan stayed an extra 20 minutes after closing to wait for us!!! Seriously thank you so much!! Top notch service!!“

“Recently visited this establishment for a small MGK pop up concert. The venue provided us with ice cold water bottles and water jugs that had cold water in it. they were some of the sweetest and most kind people I've came across. 10/10 will have to come back and try their food!“

“First time coming and it was a great experience. Two others and I ate at the hydeout and it was a neat environment. Cool laid back vibes with professional hospitality from Amanda! She served us with smiles alright! Food came out hot and quick. Amanda checked in on us and answered our menu questions. Good food although I will say it’s a bit pricey. “Just recently moved here and found out about this place. Great music and the bartenders are very sweet. Kira and Marissa are awesome! Sometimes it may take a minute to get a journey.But that's because they're busy.They're busy because they give great service.And it's a good time here.There's always someone nice to talk to at the bar even if you come along.I definitely recommend this place!“
“The grill portion is closed currently due to COVID-19. Bartender was about one of the best I’ve seen. Very friendly and upbeat, asked my name when I sat down then called me by name the rest of my time there. “I've known about this place for decades, but somehow never ate here until today. This place is a time capsule of how campus used to be many years ago, and I mean that in the best possible way. From the graphics, to the edgy names of the sandwiches, to the absolutely huge portions, everything about this place reminds me of the best parts of my youth. “Rehab Tavern in Columbus is just an awesome spot to kick back and have a good time. The vibe hits right as soon as you walk in – it’s cozy, chill, and has this cool mix of old-school charm with a modern feel. The staff is super friendly, too; they make you feel right at home and are always happy to help with drink recommendations or just chat for a bit.
Speaking of drinks, they’ve got a fantastic selection! From craft beers to unique cocktails, there’s something for everyone, and the bartenders seriously know their stuff. “Place was clean and good decor. Two pool tables. Had the J*** Cuban. Enjoyed the sandwich but could taste grease in fries. No Keno but they are in the process of obtaining the rights. A person doesn't live on alcohol alone. Friendly bartender and attentive to the point i had to say "I'm good". Lol. Keep in mind this was a Monday evening. Wasn't very busy.“
“Had such a fun time with the hubby here! Fun atmosphere, the girls were so pretty and had some amazing tricks! I loved Lexi, she was sooo gorgeous & nice! I loved the dancer who asked if it was okay to touch my hubby, even tho of course I didn't care. It was very considerate! Hubby paid 10 for his entry fee but mine was free so that was a nice surprise. Would give a 5 star if they had some more drink selections! “I found myself in Grandview and decided to try this place - I lived around here years ago so it's probably been 15-20 years since I've eaten here. I remembered the burgers being bomb, and today I can say it still was!!!! I ordered a plain burger with cheese and fries Medium and it was thick and juicy with good flavor! As for the rest.....I walked in and sat at the bar at least 10 mins before anyone showed up. I almost walked out but wqs engaged in a phone call that distracted me. The bartender/server wasn't very nice when she arrived, not even a my bad. After ordering i never saw her again until about 20 mins AFTER I was done eating. You can also tell its dirty. Yes the bar is old but i have 0 doubt they have bugs here. It is what it is. Excellent burger though!“

“Review is not a recommendation-just our experience. Waiter was friendly. Food was decent but not hot. We were there for Sunday brunch-not many customers so not sure why our food wasn’t hot. Our main concern was the cleanliness. The pictures on the wall had a lot of dirt and food splatters that seem to have been there a while. Perhaps a monthly deep clean would help. (Floor and tables were clean) It wasn’t the experience I read about on their website though.“

“First, the service is awesome. The food is pretty cheap but surprisingly it is not frozen crap, or it doesn't taste like it anyway. It's basically normal bar food and the menu was pretty small but everything we had was good, for what it was and what you would expect at a bar. The atmosphere was laid back and friendly. We were there for karaoke night and everybody had a blast. The food did take a little bit of time but we had 14 people and a bunch of appetizers and there was a full bar with one bartender and one guy I think who was the cook and helping serve at the bar. All of the patrons inside were friendly and chill, no trouble makers, no belligerent drunks. Most sang or watched the game on one of their many TVs. There is a pool table also, but just one.
Overall it is a really nice little place with a corner bar kind of feel to it. They have things to do like trivia on Mondays and karaoke on saturday. The food is not Gourmet but it's good for a bar and the price is good. And it's the best service I've had anywhere in a long time, with a staff who seem like genuinely nice people, not just getting paid to be polite“

“We threw a surprise party for 2 of our favorite people at Oties, in their Event Room. It was absolutely AMAZING! The room was so lovey and the food was great and came out quickly from the kitchen. We had such a wonderful time and the staff was very nice and helpful. Truly a great experience! We still have friends talking about what a wonderful time it was.“

“Staff is kind (above&beyond), food tastes great, and a place where you can have a birthday section or just a drink at the bar to watch the game. If you get a section, you can order bottles & food from the menu. My cons would be: Regular drinks will have to be ordered at the bar. Clearing drinks or food in our section wasn't available. I didn't mind clearing, but there wasn't a place to take our plates. There's a trash can by the exit for cups. If you do plan to get a section, make sure to have enough room for your party comfortably. If you dont have enough seating, there may be open seating at the bar for your overflow guest. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would go again.“

“Stop by often on Tuesdays to take advantage of happy hour and their cheeseburger special. We’re always greeted by the bartender, Sam. Super friendly guy who gets to know you as a regular and is great with the service. Even on Columbus Crew game days when they are really busy, he can always find a good word as he hustles front and back around the bar.
Great pub food and awesome beer selection!! They are hidden right behind the North Market, and I think many on N High Street miss the opportunity to stop by. Fantastic happy hour prices and terrific crew.“

I have no idea what it’s like between Thurs-Saturday; however, most of the week it’s pretty slow paced, but they do have the option to play the jukebox through your phone.
Bartenders are great, people are great, atmosphere is chill.“
