“My husband and I always choose this englewood location of hueys they are outstanding, the food is always great. We were helped by Malaysia at the register she made great recommendations and was very kind. Manager Emma was so very kind and went above and beyond to make sure our order was right. We hope to see her next time along with Nia who is always cleaning. This place is always worth it.“

“I've gone 2 days in a row the food was so good and huge quantity on both 5$ buffalo wings and fries and today was the gyro w/fries.... Call ahead because they make everything fresh if you don't want to wait. Excellent service and food. You can't beat their 5$ meals. Homecooking not fastfood fs❤️??“

“I use to go to the Troy St location since I’m only a couple blocks away from that location , However the last several times I’ve went to that location they messed up my order. I’m not one to call & complain so I let it slide but after the last time messing up all 3 orders I said no more & started going to the Linden Ave location & so far my order hasn’t been messed up one time. When they forget the biscuits , get the chicken type wrong all the time that’s it for me . I can’t keep going back each week to get the order I wanted so we end up eating what we were given & on a couple occasions my husband didn’t get to eat because he can’t eat spicy foods & all the orders were spicy & shouldn’t have been. Single sides were put inside with meals instead of being on the side individually like I ordered them . I get the same 3 meals EVERY Wednesday . I may switch sides on 1 of them but thats it . When they forget the biscuits , get the chicken type wrong all the time that’s it for me . Since going to Linden Ave & having an automated thing take your order I haven’t had any problems what so ever & I was skeptical about ordering through that .“

“I'm a frequent guest because the food is delicious. During my last visit I received the regular strawberry-lemonade, but I ordered the frozen strawberry-lemonade. Oops! I should have checked prior to leaving. We all make mistakes, remember that the time you made one.“

“All the food was good. The service was Great! I actually left my phone on the counter there and after I got home and realized that's what I had done. I called and said where I remembered leaving it and immediately the employee looked. Found it and put it up until I could get back for it and it was there when I got there to retrieve it. Thank goodness

“They were advertising a$7.99 special of hushpuppy fantasy shrimp w one side and a drink. I purchased a meal without a drink. When I got home to eat my meal, I only had a stale biscuit no hush puppy and peanut size stale shrimp that were hard as rocks. I called the restaurant and spoke to a young man who said he was not responsible for what was on the board. This is false advertising. I was not told of the change. Quite disappointed .“

“Not here as often as I use to years ago since food is greasy but every time I come by the staff is upbeat, food is fresh, and taste great. This chicken spot needs to stick around for years to come. Got hip to churches back in late 90s when it was on west 3rd and the other location off Broadway street.“

“I'm certain of that giving my order at the drive-thru window really made the person I was speaking to unhappy. Very unpleasant experience. She claimed that one of the machines was down and she was frustrated when I called her out on it. But does that make it okay to take it out on the customer?“
