“We ate at Chick-fil-A today for my son’s second birthday. It’s his favorite! I asked a worker to kindly bring me one of each Christmas cow so my birthday boy could pick one and then I’d come up to the register and pay for it. She was excited to do so. She told me to not worry about paying for it that she was sure he deserved. Exceptional customer service! She really made his day. I didn’t catch her name but she did have on a black apron and was African American.“

“The food was great! I got the grilled chicken strips..they were tasty! I love the toast they serve with the meal..it's so buttery and complement the chicken so well. The fries were nice and hot, but next time I will get them without the seasoning they put on them, I just don't care for the seasoning. I definitely will be back!“

“I've gone 2 days in a row the food was so good and huge quantity on both 5$ buffalo wings and fries and today was the gyro w/fries.... Call ahead because they make everything fresh if you don't want to wait. Excellent service and food. You can't beat their 5$ meals. Homecooking not fastfood fs❤️‍??“

“I use to go to the Troy St location since I’m only a couple blocks away from that location , However the last several times I’ve went to that location they messed up my order. I’m not one to call & complain so I let it slide but after the last time messing up all 3 orders I said no more & started going to the Linden Ave location & so far my order hasn’t been messed up one time. When they forget the biscuits , get the chicken type wrong all the time that’s it for me . I can’t keep going back each week to get the order I wanted so we end up eating what we were given & on a couple occasions my husband didn’t get to eat because he can’t eat spicy foods & all the orders were spicy & shouldn’t have been. Single sides were put inside with meals instead of being on the side individually like I ordered them . I get the same 3 meals EVERY Wednesday . I may switch sides on 1 of them but thats it . When they forget the biscuits , get the chicken type wrong all the time that’s it for me . Since going to Linden Ave & having an automated thing take your order I haven’t had any problems what so ever & I was skeptical about ordering through that .“

“Visited Ohio this weekend from Wisconsin my niece recommended LEE'S stopped at this location and the food and staff were GREAT I told the cashier this was my first time trying Lee's she guaranteed me I'd like it NO I LOVED IT (that spicy chicken and those old school KFC tasting BAKED BEANS I couldn't wait to get home and finish the rest (now I'm sad cause it's all gone ? ) AGAIN BIG SHOUT OUT TO THE STAFF AND RESTAURANT IT WAS A HIT? “Not here as often as I use to years ago since food is greasy but every time I come by the staff is upbeat, food is fresh, and taste great. This chicken spot needs to stick around for years to come. Got hip to churches back in late 90s when it was on west 3rd and the other location off Broadway street.“

“Simply Fabulous! I don't understand most of the bad reviews about this store. I have visited this establishment on multiple occasions this year and each time the service has been impeccable, the food outstanding, the cleanliness exceptional, and the atmosphere was welcoming and friendly.

If the bad reviews are keeping you from visiting this Popeye store, I encourage you to overlook them and experience it for yourself. The managers on staff go out of their way if you ask anything of them and I'm always greeted with a smile.

Food pricing is a bit high, but everything is high under Biden/Harris. The cost of the food has no bearing on the quality, quantity, or taste. Every fast food restaurant has young people working. That is the nature of the industry. The young people on shift each time I've gone (Popeye's is now my favorite chicken restaurant so I go fairly often), the young people have been well mannered and respectful.

Unfortunately, the establishment doesn't have a Veteran's discount policy; however, on my first visit I asked about the discount. The shift manager advised me they don't have the policy and said they should have, so they gave me the discount as a courtesy. That kindness kept me coming back although I never asked for it again knowing the policy.

I hope they read this review and implement a discount policy for Veteran's and Senior Citizens. That would make the food taste even more exquisite! lol“

“I love KFC the chicken is always fresh and delicious I love the Mac and cheese mashed potatoes and gravy their biscuits are the bomb... But the 20.00 fill up box barely feeds 2 people so if ur looking to get that for more then 2 I'd get a bigger box...other than that it's a good place to get good chicken and sides from..

Vegetarian options: If you're a vegetarian this place is not for you, go get you some salad or something else not KFC ?“
