“Awesome presentation all the desserts we tried today were great. Took home a tres leche family size dessert to try for our son’s 11th bday today. Atmosphere was very pleasant and clean. We only saw one employee but she was very pleasant and professional.“

“This place is the best! Their staff is quick and friendly. The pastries are to die for, so is the breakfast sandwich! You can only get the sandwich until 11 on weekdays and 12 on weekends. The danishes and brownies are my favorite. The good pastries are always sold out by the afternoon so go early! I love love love their seasonal drinks! Love this place!!!“

“Ordered a whole sheet red velvet cake for nephew's graduation from St. V's.. Our family and guests LOVED the cake, it was delicious! I heard several say it was the tastiest sheet cake they had ever had. Icing was yummy. The folks who took the order (I called in from out of state) were lovely to work with. Highly recommended. “I can’t begin to say enough good things about this little bakery. One, they’re inclusive by having vegan and gluten free items. As someone with a dairy allergy, this is heaven sent! I always find things for my husband, but it’s difficult to get myself a little treat at times because of no DF options.
Honey Bee Bakery is beyond adorable in aesthetics. They have a large picture window, table, bookshelf, and chairs you can sit and people watch. It’s also in Medina Commons so there’s extra tables and chairs right outside the shop.
Customer service? Stellar. Friendly, helpful, even asked if I wanted my husband’s normal sweets separated from my DF sweets. Now that is a respectful shop! Prices were very, very reasonable for what you get.
I got my husband a buckeye bar and lemon bar. For myself, two vegan brownies and a churro muffin. Haven’t tried the muffin yet. However, I do recommend splitting a vegan brownie 4 ways. It’s so thick and decadent I’m still nibbling on my first one. Heat it up in the microwave for 10 seconds, and it just melts in your mouth.
10/10 definitely coming back here again! It also seems you can pre-order cakes and they take great pride in high quality.“

“Clean location, staff have been helpful and accommodating each time we visited. We enjoying trying the new rotations of treats that they keep putting out. Having the minis available now is a great improvement. Store gets a bit crowded at peak times.
Parking: In a lot with a few other business
Kid-friendliness: A smaller area and there are display cookies out so kids maybbe able to grab these. Also they have tablets for ordering which kids can reach.“

“We order my daughter's birthday cake or cupcakes from here every year and have done so since we had her 9th birthday party there 11 years ago. I'm not much of a sweets person but my daughter and family and friends always love the cakes! Jean is always super accommodating and is happy to customize to my daughter's requests. Plus it's so adorable inside this shop! Highly recommend!“

“I have ordered cakes from West Side Bakery multiple times. I have requested elegant, kid/fun, and unique/challenging…. When other bakers were hesitant to meet my expectations, West Side Bakery eagerly accepted. Each time, the look and the TASTE exceeded my VERY HIGH, TYPE A expectations!!!! The latest was my request for Rose’s door… you know, the broken piece from the movie Titanic. My son is OBSESSED with that ship and the wreckage and requested a Titanic themed 7th birthday party. I asked for detail and DISTRESSED. 🔨 WSB NAILED IT!!! Everyone raved over how good it tasted, too! He wanted a white cake with strawberry filling. It was so light and moist and decadent. I am now looking for opportunities to order again from West Side! THANK YOU TO THE WSB TEAM!!! You bring JOY to so many!“

“Been loving Leach’s for about 23 years now. I remember when I was little, when my mom would go in to the shop my brother and I would always get a cookie for the drive home and the best part of any birthday is a Leach’s cake. This place earns a special spot in my heart ❤️“
