“Their food definitely has a unique story, with robust flavors. I took my 15 year old son for the first time and we ordered a gyro and a BLT and let me tell you we both have never tasted these dished prepared in such an amazing way. Flavor was out of this world, great work!! Also the employees were all so nice and service was speedy“

“The food was great! I had one of their prime rib sandwiches, the buttery one, and it just melted in my mouth! It's a bar atmosphere, which I don't mind, but some might. Drawback is there are not alot of tables. It is kinda small. I'm told there is a line out the door on certain days. I suggested it to Diners, Drive-ins & Dives, so we'll see what happens. Definitely check it out! I will definitely go there again!Parking: It's in a small strip mall with other businesses, and some if not all have delineated which spots are theirs.“

“Took our youngest for a pizza date last weekend and she loved everything! Pizza and salad are always delicious and the server we has was so sweet with our kiddo. She even gave her stickers when we left! They also gave her a little bit of dough to play with while we were waiting for our food! Highly recommend!“

“It's only my second time here. There was a situation that happened after being there for just an hour. However, the staff handled it perfectly and did the right thing. Purely from that me and my friends and I would happily go back, knowing that if anything happens, they would be onto it.“

“We went early in the evening on a Saturday night and there was plenty of seating even though they were set up for three parties. The waitress was prompt to our table and the food came out quickly. Super hot and really good ... although the Reuben could have been a little thicker. The cheesecake slice was huge & could be split between 2 people.“

“We came for dinner last night before the concert and sat outside. Service was slow however our waitress was the only one with the tables outside and she was wonderful! She kept apologizing and we understood it wasn’t her fault. Food was great as always. Our waitress deserves all the praise. Some of the other customers weren’t as understanding.“

“Great saloon, best bar I've been to. Being from western USA I love the rustic biker atmosphere, not only are the staff great but also the people here gave me a nice vibe. Saw Buzz Anderson here and he was incredible. Our beers were decently priced as well.“

“Went during happy hour. Service was great and was definitely fast service. Took off a star simply because the first taco “Bad Habit” had 2 pieces of steak. It was delicious though. Margaritas were awesome but that second taco had more steak and it was a bop for me and my honey. The street corn was good on the side and on “the heater” taco prices were good as well 2 tacos and to top shelf margaritas less than $30“

“The food, drinks, and service were amazing. Our appetizer of pretzel bites was fresh and good. They had Maumee Bay on tap, which was awesome. I love coming here any time I’m craving a burger. They are always hot, fresh, and never dry. I recommend the 795 Mac because I love their take on McDonald’s “special sauce.” The Union burger is also a delicious option if you like a fried egg on top of your burger. The prices are also very reasonable for dining out. After two drinks, burgers, and an appetizer we spent under $50 before tip.“

“Great small venue, with a lot of energy. Great staff. It's a very small venue, one that hosts Great music. Staff is friendly and helpful. Sound was great. It's one of the venues you want to go to again and again . We were able to meet the bands after the show which is always a great time. Will definitely be back soon.“

“Cheap drinks and pretty good bar food. Decent size portions on salads, sandwiches, and wraps. I love Laurie and Jamie the bartenders. They are always friendly and happy to serve you, the interior is small but they've recently updated their patio area which can be used most of the year.“

“We came in town to spend some time to unwind at the lake. The Tale is 1 mile from our AirBNB and came recommended by our host. We came on a Monday and were greeted by the owner, Roger. Clean, updated bathrooms, cold beverages and good conversations with patrons. I don't come to a watering hole to eat so not having food doesn't matter to me. There's chips and snacks for sale if you need them. We will be back on our next trip! Bonus: I won on Keno! ?“

“My husband and I went there to have a nice date. We sat up at the bar and ordered some of their signature burgers. I got the regular while my husband got The Goat (I think that’s what it was called). His burger had goat cheese, jalapeños, and raspberry jam and it was delicious! Both of the burgers were outstanding! We also tried a cocktail, they have several, it was called The River! Tasted like cinnamon and even a hint of eggnog. It was delicious! We had a great time and absolutely plan on taking friends and family with us! Can’t wait to go back!“

“First let me say it was one of those nights that never ended. Barbie's Place opened at 5:30 am. So after being out to last call at a club and going out to eat. Everyone said let's go to Barbie's Place. I had plenty of nights that kept going for a day or two. It was not my 1st time there but it was my 1st time going in the morning. The parking lot started filling up to my surprise it was a lot of people waiting for the door to open. When they did people came in non stop. By 6am it was at least 35 or more people drinking, eating, playing games and shooting pool. More kept coming. Missy the bartender made working behind the bar look easy providing each customer with quality service.“

“Earnest has knocked it out of the park with this location. Nestled in close to Kengo, Home Slice and 5/3 Field, they have the best craft beers in the area. The interior and atmosphere is warm and inviting, plus you'll see some of the same friendly faces pouring those delicious Earnest Brews!“

“Didn't get food. Choice of beers was amazing. Got a flight of all the stouts on the draft menu board. Bartender was extremely knowledgeable about the beers. Went early in afternoon on a Saturday so place was quieter than usual. To-Go canned options are staggering. Becoming one of our favorites when visiting Toledo.Wheelchair accessibility: Single door entrance in front. Curb cuts from the parking lot. The bar is all high top seating but plenty of tables with moveable chairs for everyone. Bathroom accessible. Might be challenging for people sensitive to loud noises if a game is on or trivia night. “Just a neighborhood dive bar with a drunk uncle on the bar stool and decor and prices from the 80s. I can't complain when I can get a beer and a double of Jameson for 6.50. It's a bunch of neighborhood drunkards on barstools shooting the shit after an honest day's work. What's not to love? Decent service and cold CHEAP drinks.“

“This is a nice local bar close to the boat launch. It's always a good place to grab a drink and a bite to eat if you are in the area. I really like their perch because it is fresh, crispy and very light and flaky. The fried pickle spears with homemade ranch are delicious as well. There is a jukebox and keno available and the crowd is friendly.“
