Sam was excellent; allowing us to try a few samples of the beers on tap and sharing the background of Schnitz Ale, as well as boasting about the many awards these great local craft beers are earning nationwide. He also really knows his stuff and had great suggestions for which beers we may like based on our preferences. The Soft But Stout white stout is so good, it's dangerous! We'll be making this spot a regular visit for sure“

“Had the cranjam burger, without the bun. WOW! So good! The cheese, Smokey bacon and sweet cranberry sauce were the perfect combo! The beef was very high quality and a much bigger burger than The Rail! Please keep this on the menu! I hope it’s not a seasonal item. Yum! 😋

The bartender Kelly is friendly, knowledgeable, high energy, and fun- be nice to her and tip her well. Men’s washroom is clean and cool. Last but not least LOTS OF PARKING in their free parking lot. “Haven’t been to it for awhile so I chose to go recently with my daughter and mom. My mom and I liked our food but sadly not so much my daughter. Her water taste weird and the sprite she ordered the syrup flavor was to strong it wasn’t a good mix. Picked at her food. When we came home I tried her fries and understood why she didn’t like them. Other than that everything else we ordered we liked. Next time I’ll get her the boneless wings to be on the safe side. We had a great waiter during our time. Even though my daughter didn’t like much of her food she liked our waiter and decided to tip him with her own allowance.“

“Held my Norse-Pagan wedding reception here, and holy $#!T, it was an amazing experience (really affordable too). Eugene catering is sooo good, and I highly recommend the pot roast. Rollo and Chef B were simply awesome, and made it to where we didn't have to worry about a thing. I can't say enough about the incredible service, food, atmosphere, and mead. Make sure to try the chicken tenders...my mouth is watering just thinking about them again. A perfect Viking mead hall. Skål!
