The server, under direction took us to the worst place in the restaurant. My prayer was that it wasn’t because we were a family of color. I tried hard to disregard the thought as we were directed to sit outside the kitchen door. :—/. I was getting away from the kitchen. That was the last place I wanted to celebrate our special occasion. I asked for a different place in the restaurant that was housing one other visible couple. She was very happy to oblige us. “We had a little birthday happy hour on the enclosed patio and it exceed expectations. The area we were given was perfect for our group of 15! The food was all amazing! The drink menu is really cool with lots of fun options, the passion fruit mojito was really refreshing. Alexis was our server and she was a rock star. She put up with my grammy telling her how stunning she was all night. Alexis is model stunning, but that aside, she was an amazing server, super quick, kind and attentive. It was a great experience and my 80 yr old grammy was thrilled! Thank you!!!!“
