“All homemade/homestyle food... was ready to accommodate our large party with very little warning and easily the best (and largest😳) Country Fried Steak that I have ever had... I live in Wheeling but I will be making the trip back up for this food very soon“

“So so yummy, got a chicken platter with Mac and cheese, fries and of course chicken. Got medium heat and it was perfect if you just want pure flavor without wanting too much spice, fried cookie dough is okay, would be better in house probably-kinda tastes like pancakes more than cookie “

“The waitress was really patient with all the questions and food allergies my mother has and was extremely sweet! She had suggested for my mom to try the steak and my mother loved it! I had the baked cod, my oldest has the spaghetti and meatball, and youngest had the cheese burger and fries. We all loved what we got!“

“Skip made our Company Christmas party a wonderful experience from start to finish, the food was phenomenal and service was off the charts! So friendly and great atmosphere! Not to mention the food we had left over from when everyone got Togo boxes instead of just throwing it out they take it to a local shelter! Just goes to show how much pride and care they have! “We go there a lot service is always excellent but the food has not been that great the last couple times. My egg was cold, I got one slice of toast cut in half with my meal. Hash browns were good. Got a BLT the other day and there were only two pieces of bacon on it. Hopefully they will improve the quality of the food for what you pay for.“

“First time to this establishment today. I just had to write a review. When we first arrived we were a little nervous bc of the condition of the outside deck and entrance but we decided to give it a try. I headed straight to the restroom….big mistake. I was seriously contemplating leaving after that experience. Smelly (like sewer gas smell not from someone using restroom), dirty and just old and run down. But the person I was with was already seated & placed drink order so we stayed. The waitress was friendly enough but we told her we’d never been there before and she didn’t bother to tell us anything about specials or the menu or anything. So we ordered. I got the club sandwich with house chips, the other got the Philly sandwich and upgraded to sweet potato fries. The food was fast to come out and we were pleasantly surprised how good it looked and with the portion size. The waitress did get us refills and check on us. As we sat there we noticed how EXTREMELY FILTHY the large a/c vent grate on the wall near us was. Looked like it hadn’t been dusted or wiped down in years. And the people at the table next to us were commenting on how disgustingly filthy the wood floors were. The gentleman said it looked like it needed degreaser dumped on it and mopped about twenty times over. He also commented how ashamed he’d be if he owned a place that looked like this. I agree. The place filled up while we were there and all the food looked amazing. I saw so many items I’d like to try but…. Although we were impressed with the food I’m not sure I will ever go back. Just too dirty for me. Such a shame.“

“We love Texas Roadhouse. My only complaint is WHY does it have to be so cold in here??? Especially in the summer wearing summer clothing. It’s miserable to eat inside and the food gets cold immediately.“

“Always a good meal when we go in. They always have their place decorated for the season. It's clean and not cluttered with a lot of tables.

My favorite part is the blonde waitress, and forgive me because I can't remember her name. Her and her mom both work there, and she is always so sweet and kind. She always remembers us and the conversations we have when we go in.

I recommend breakfast here, you won't be disappointed.“

But even after the hostess was told about the table she put an older couple there. They were so annoyed they said they wouldn't be back and left.“
