“Our first dining experience at this restaurant and we will return. Khi our server made certain we were comfortable, explained the menu and specials. Was friendly and polite. Perfect. Camerons Old Fashion and Smokey Margaritas were delightful. The short ribs were tender, deep in flavor, enjoyed the horseradish puree (more horseradish would make it perfect). The duck breast had well seared skin, was perfectly tender, and a enjoyable depth of flavor. The sauce gravy was excellent. I highly recommend the lamb meatballs as an appetizer. Soak up the remaining sauce with the bread. Excellent. The pineapple upside down cake was a pleasant dessert surprise and delicious.”

“Not only are the cookies fantastic, the customer service is as well. I ordered cookies from the Worthington location to be delivered for a birthday. Due to a snag in the ordering system, the order was canceled. I sent an email and in return received a phone call from Katie, the store’s shift leader. She called not once but 3 times to make sure the order was corrected—- and credited! Staff even added a dozen extra cookies! In addition, another employee,Ashley, took it upon herself to make sure the cookies were delivered asap. I also received an email from the company’s customer care representative later in the day to apologize. Top notch customer service. Thank you.”

“We used Mrs. Goodman's for our wedding cake last month. We gave them the inspiration pics posted below along with 2 photos of our wedding cake (the photos with the topper on it). We wanted the white roses from the one cake but the greenery from the other. We didn't get to see the cake until cake cutting due to my parents picking up for us. WE WERE BLOWN AWAY!! They did so so well. It looked so amazing and tasted even better. They were also very affordable.

Michele helped us go through the process and she was very friendly, professional, and helpful.

It’s small, clean, laid back with a decent menu of mostly fried fare That is the only negative, the whole place smells like a fryolator, you will need to wash your entire outfit, down to your skivies. It’s worth it though!”

“Four of us went here for carryout as we needed the last minute meal. We all got different things and most of it was good. I got the wor su gai which was nothing like I've ever had anywhere. I order this dish a lot at various Chinese restaurants, but this one had like a breaded chicken and the sauce was not the yellow or brown gravy it tasted like a teriyaki sauce and it looked like teriyaki sauce. It was good but in no way tasted like wor su gai. I thought the egg rolls were good as well. The lady was very nice at the restaurant and thanked us numerous times for the business. And she threw in a egg drop soup and everybody's to go order and wrote free on the lid. I don't eat that soup. so it just want to waste on me, but it was very nice that she did that. I would maybe try it again, but get something different. They were a little slow, but not bad.”

“A new favorite of a local place that knows how to do things right! I am quite the connoisseur of chili dogs and this is one of the beat places I have ever had! They start off with all beef hotdogs and grill them to perfection on their grill which gives you that nice crunch when you bite into its awesome deliciousness. I had two dogs today. The first was the Hillbilly Dog topped with coleslaw and coney sauce. I added jalapeños for my personal taste. Next was the Junkyard Dog topped with coney sauce, cheesy onions (cooked on the grill), bacon, jalapeños, cole slaw, garlic aioli, and spicy brown mustard. If you are not a fan of all-beef hotdogs, they have options of Stadium Dogs (all pork), a vegan dog, and even an wagyu beef hotdogs. (Some may be a small extra fee) I did not order their famous hubcaps but will next time! One thing that I saw on the menu was Burnt Ends French Fries. French fries topped with burnt ends, bbq sauce, Cheddar cheese and scallions. Can you say heaven on fries? Still hungry? Try one of their milkshakes or floats. Friendly workers interact with customers to make sure that everything is to perfection! That personal touch is rare these days and absolutely priceless! This place proves that old saying that the drive is worth the difference! If you are reading this review and don't eat here immediately, you are missing out and will wish you had filled yourself with this awesomeness instead of whatever disappointing meal or mediocrity that you settled for!”

“The experience here blew me away. The chef/owner creates a new tasting menu everyday based on local, fresh ingredients. The pasta is home-made daily. Other ingredients are imported from Italy. The lamb ragu with pappardelle reminded me of Tuscany. The wine pairings were thoughtful and well done. Seating is very limited. Recommend booking in advance.”

“Jan did a cake for my mom's birthday a few years ago and my mom said it was the best cake she ever had. So, when my parents' 60th wedding celebration came up earlier this year, we went back to Jan! We chose her most popular flavor, the raspberry creme, and it was delicious. But, the look of the cake was so special. Sixty years ago, my mother had a small wedding and wore an embroidered suit/vest. Jan based the design of the cake on it and it was so special to my parents and a real work of art. Jan was easy to work with and had great ideas. She suggested a small two-tier cake, so my parents could take the smaller tier with them on a short trip and share their special cake with friends. Jan also made sure we had what we needed to pack everything up after the event. Thank you again, Jan!”

“Really enjoyed our Saturday night dinner celebration for 9 of us celebrating my grandson’s UC graduation. From the appetizers to the desserts, the food was outstanding! The short ribs special was very good and we all agreed that the bay scallops and shrimp risotto is an outstanding dish! The entire staff is very friendly and for a busy Saturday night, we enjoyed excellent service! Highly recommend this lovely restaurant in downtown.
