It’s small, clean, laid back with a decent menu of mostly fried fare That is the only negative, the whole place smells like a fryolator, you will need to wash your entire outfit, down to your skivies. “We were a party of 7. I booked online to make it easy and they could expect us. As expected when we arrived we were immediacy seated ( Saturday 4:30 reservation) Service was great. Food was great. We alerted server of a food allergy her and the rest of the kitchen team went out of their way to clean out the fryer and put in fresh oil so that my niece could have french fries. This was super thoughtful. When we went, it was not super busy, but it did pick up quickly and get loud in the restaurant - though it is a sports bar, - it DOES carry restaurant quality, and I would most definitely recommend. Our servers name was Aryanna- she was top notch!!!“

“I was visiting Columbus, Ohio and wanted a fun vibe, and Bernard’s Tavern delivered. The music was great and the food delicious. We shared the taquitos, the Cajun pasta, and the deep dish cookie dessert, all of which were amazing. I will definitely come back next time I am in town.“

It’s 9pm, the house is packed, not an empty seat, not even halftime and the kitchen is closed. And they call themselves the number one place to watch the Buckeyes…kitchen would be opened if I ran this place.“

“If you’re looking for some of the best wings in Columbus, look no further. Found this place online after a quick search for wings. The wings were so good, I actually went back a second time in less than a week. The vibes were typical bar vibes, the service was better the second visit but the food was great both times. We tried the Mac n Cheese, wasn’t bad at all but nothing that I’d order again. The wings are what I went for and I’d recommend those as a 10/10!“

“First time I ever eat here, I was passing through. They were super busy but we only waited 30mins and appetizers came out within 5 mins or so. Food was out within about 20 mins. We did not order a single thing that didn't taste phenomenal!

I was worried their pizza would be too thin of crust since they don't make anything other than that, but it tasted so good I forgot it was thin crust. It wasn't a crunchy thin crust either, it was soft dough.

You honestly can’t hardly tell the difference between that and the regular crust, it’s that good. We got both today, just to test things out and we are sold on the cauliflower crust. So, keto peeps and if you’re watching carbs, definitely treat yourself to a Classics pizza. The bar is SO CLEAN and the bartender was so friendly and pours a great drink. Prices are fair and the service is unmatched. The owner, friendliest guy in the world and dedicated to making this place the best it can be. Vibes are immaculate. “Food is from the pizza place next door and is OK, but subs were tiny and expensive. Go to India Oak for great subs and get double meat, take half home. The Oak has good bands every weekend night. Bands outside at Gabby's and in August, Iron Cross is having a 40th reunion gig on Gabby's patio. THE BROTHERS GRIMM will open and graying Northland High School alums will ROCK! I can't find the date on the Iron Cross website! Stupid hippies. And Gabby's website doesnt list entertainment or dates? Come on people! Get it together!? The characters who are regulars ARE entertaining though! Watch your car and park by the patio entrance...... cars have been stolen in front of Gabby's and the old Northland hood is sketchy!“

I am from Cleveland and always look for old school bars when I travel. This bar is one of the best I ever stopped into. “Our first time eating here, we enjoyed our meals and the ser ice was very good. Our server Preston was very nice and recommended to my wife to order from kids menu to get a single patty burger, it was still a pretty big burger. The fries were fresh hot and many, I had the tots, they were OK but I liked the fries better. Fish and chips very good, a large piece of breaded fish well seasoned. Over all I would give them a very good rating.“
