Our bartender was incredibly knowledgeable, had a very inviting personality and to top it all off he makes amazing mead!!! With wide-open seating, tree-covered areas, and cozy hanging lights, the vibe was equal parts romantic and relaxed. 💫 The beer selection? Exactly what you want in a neighborhood brewery—a perfect variety of drinkable, staple brews that suit all tastes. On a hot summer evening though, I would’ve loved to see a frosted glass option—the beer warmed up a little too fast for my liking. We ordered the giant pretzel, which definitely delivered on size! The beer cheese was decent, but we were hoping for a bit more creativity or a “mystery dip” option to spice it up. Also… just give us one good cup of cheese with it instead of making everyone upgrade for a second portion. Small thing, but it stood out. As the sun set, the whole place started to feel like something out of a movie. Couples celebrating engagements, friends laughing over cornhole in the corner, and a casual, easy energy. The only thing missing? Some live music, especially for a Saturday night. 🎶 We found ourselves lost in conversation… time honestly stood still. It felt both lively and private, which is a rare combo these days. If I had one other piece of feedback, it’d be for a slightly bigger food menu and maybe a kiddo cut-off time around 7 PM, just so the evening crowd can fully settle into adult mode. We liked we could substitute a side more to our liking (substituted risotto from another dish to our salmon plate) Both soups were rich and creamy. Service was excellent, although we were a little surprised our entrees took an unusually long time to be served (maybe had to do with the substitution?). We were in no hurry, so it was fine. The pricing for the lunch special was helpful.“

They vary the menu a lot I see with lots of fun offerings, but I think it would be nice to keep a couple more staple items on the menu. I would have really liked some sort of salad with my meal or maybe a French onion soup and they did not have any soups or salads. Espresso martinis were really great! I got a pasta dish. Loved all the components of it, but do feel the sauce felt unfinished. The sourdough toast app was great. My wife got the pork with collards and grits. Would have been great if the pork was cooked more. The grits and greens were great, but texture of the pork made us cringe. I know not fully cooked pork is more common these days, but typically we’re asked how we want it cooked and it was an after thought to mention we wanted it fully cooked. We now know for next time! Free dessert was provided for our anniversary and that was really nice!“

“Overall our experience here was fantastic. Our server was excellent (I wish I could remember her name but I'm terrible with names), most of the food was incredible and the ambiance was so lovely. For appetizers we did the focaccia and tomato bread, bruschetta, arancini, and ricotta spread - these were all amazing. We also did a Caesar salad and it was the best I've ever had. It had house made dressing with a hint of lemon, so refreshing and delicious. Our mains were good, but they were not outstanding or incredible. The lasagna rotolo was soft and the sauce was flavorful, however the dish was not very filling as it did not have much meat. If you order this know that it doesn't come prepared as a traditional lasagna, in my opinion Valentina's lasagna is far superior to this dish and we would not order it again. The bolognese was very meat filled however it was very salty which I dislike, not a bad dish but not my preference. We also tried a special dish of the night which was a truffle pasta with mushrooms and it came with a hefty price tag but was delectable and worth it in our opinion. This was our favorite main dish. We ordered dessert to go and Nutella gelato to eat in the restaurant. The gelato was the worse I've ever tasted, it was gritty and had an almond flavor as opposed to hazelnut. We could not eat it and the server removed it from our bill. The tiramisu was great as was the panna cotta. I also tried an amaretto sour with house made sour mix, this drink was delicious and definitely an elevated version of this cocktail. The wait staff was so quick to refill our water, remove dirty dishes and bring out our next dishes. Again, overall our experience here was fantastic but I would try different main dishes next time or stick to appetizers and drinks!“

Extremely tasty with the right balance of crumbles and b’fflo sauce. Great w/seasoned fries or house chips. Make sure to have a pint of the Kroenburg 1664 pints to wash it down. Oh and BTW, it’s a great deal. Won’t disappoint your palllet or your wallet! Enjoy.“

“We had a delightful Christmas Eve dinner with appetizers and three different entrees. The gnocchi was absolutely delicious and our favorite! The sauce was wonderful!“

“Took my mother there for her birthday last Saturday evening and I just love the service and the food. Our server was outstanding and was very attentive to our needs. He was very knowledgeable about the menu as well and was able to recommend good options for us to choose from. My mother was quite late to the restaurant, but he always assured me that it was no rush and had a great attitude. They even let us stay a bit past the 10pm closing time without rushing us out the door.

I had been here once before, and the food was consistently delicious both times I went. The fresh-baked focaccia is a must-try for all newcomers, and the broccolini we tried was also spectacular. The pasta was delicious (I ordered the pumpkin filled bowties) but I found the portions a little lacking (in contrast to the sausage ragu I ordered in my previous visit which was heaping). Do note that depending on the pasta dish, you will get either a hefty portion or a very small portion so make sure to ask the server for details before ordering.

The cocktails are interesting and quite nice as well, so this is a great spot to get some drinks and a light appetizer to kickstart a night on the town.

My only gripe with that night I had was that I had mentioned multiple times (In the reservation) and to the server that this was a birthday celebration. The server noted that they would bring out a little dessert for us, but it never came (though this was probably in part due to my mother being quite late and perhaps maybe the server had forgotten, we are all human after all)

Regarding the atmosphere: Some other reviewers have mentioned a clash in the dark-lit room and the clothes of the staff, and I can see those as legitimate critiques. The dining room isn't really that spacious and the design on the walls is very minimalist. The menus and the servers' aprons match (flowers) which was very cute, but there are little rips and scuffs on the pillars near the back of the dining room which kind of seems a bit unprofessional. Overall, a great experience and phenomenal food, would certainly come back for a quick bite or for a more formal occasion without thinking twice.“

“Khaab Indian Kitchen and Bar is truly a hidden gem in Bexley! Their lunch buffet is hands down the best around: fresh, flavorful, and packed with variety. What makes it even better is that they offer the buffet to-go, which I’ve already taken advantage of when I didn’t have time to sit down.

I first dined in at their buffet this past Sunday and was so impressed that I went back the next two days for takeout! Each time, the food somehow tasted even better than before! The atmosphere is calm, clean, and relaxing, and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel like family. Everyone from the host to the manager is so kind, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant.

As for the food, it’s seasoned to perfection! So far, I’ve enjoyed a wide variety: chicken biryani, chicken curry, chicken 65, orange chicken, aloo cabbage, aloo choley, tandoori chicken, garlic naan, saag paneer, bhatura, chili chicken, tikka masala, lamb rogan josh, fish amritsari and Hariyali (which I tried for the first time and am now a lifelong fan). Hopefully they put it on the menu, as I found out today it was just a random surprise for the buffet today. Each dish is bursting with authentic flavor and cooked with care.

I honestly cannot say enough kind words about this place. Between the warm hospitality, relaxing atmosphere, and consistently incredible food, Khaab Indian Kitchen and Bar has quickly become one of my favorite spots. I just hope they don’t get tired of seeing me, because I’ll be back again and again!“

The menu features a wide range of authentic Mexican dishes at reasonable prices. My husband and I tried the queso blanco, street tacos, Birria tacos, and churros. Each dish was flavourful, hot, and super fresh. My personal favorite were the Birria tacos — every bite was packed with the right balance of spices and tenderness. I am very picky when it comes to restaurants, especially Mexican, and let me tell you; if you like flavor (not just salt…), this is the place for you! The food wasn’t all that impressed us — the wait staff was equally fantastic. Our waitress, Megan, was an absolute superstar. She was attentive, friendly, and made our experience very enjoyable.
