“Table for four with beef fajitas (shared), New Mexican taquitos and the chile replenish. The service was good and the portions were large. Those that had the margarita proclaimed that it was the best that they had had in a long time! There was no room for dessert, but I couldn't resist and brought home a slice of green chile apple pie!
The weather was very pleasant so a lot of people were able to enjoy the outdoor seating.“

“This restaurant has an amazing variety of food and taste wonderful. The best part is the owners and staff. They are so personable and make you feel like family every time you walk through their door. They have a great staff, many of which has been there for a long time, so you get that same personable relationship built with them as well. It is hard to get good customer service these days. They go above and beyond what you would expect, and the food matches their service.“

“My family are new to the area about 3yrs now, and the most exciting has been trying a lot of local places to find the best. Best taste, best value, best service. You know what I mean. I'm happy to say my family and I found our favorite!!! We ordered from all over the menu. I have a family of 6 all with varying tastes so it's easy to do lol. Right out the gate we loved the selections. Everything that my family typically gravitates around was right there so that was encouraging. I grew up on authentic Mexican food, and let me tell you I couldn't believe what I was tasting. My grandmother would have given this place a thumbs up just off the rice and beans lol. Pepe and his family have surely put their souls into this place. If you haven't stopped in your cheating yourself out of some great food. We're all headed back in a couple days to try something else. Hope you stop in to see what ppl are talking about 🙂“

“Love their Tamales! We ordered pork tamales, plenty of meat, great flavor on the shredded pork and masa. Good size tamales. Dozen for $25, to me it was worth the dozen. The pork are delicious. They offer pork, chicken and cheese. We live in Elgin, OK close to Lawton and the tamales in our area are not worth the $18 -$25 a dozen, We have tried several.“

“My wife and I ate there last week for the first time. I was very impressed with the decor service and the food. I have spent a great deal of time in Mexico and have eaten food from various regions. This place has by far the best tasting and most authentic Mexican food I have eaten the the United States. We will be returning to dine here again. I give 5 stars“

With sweet, mild to picante options… the family ownership def knows how to make you feel @ “home.” We paired the fresh handmade chips with pints of guac & pico! Also enjoyed the fajitas, carne asada & Kansas burrito (plenty of food for 4 - 2 of which teenagers boys who were full!!!). Great price!“

“This is really good food. I had the Lamb everyone else stuck with beef both flavors and presentations were excellent. Probably tip if you love cold pizza definitely take it home and let it chill. I ate one and the bite of cold cheese and meat was the best thing I've had in a while.“

There is a variety of items on the menu, both breakfast and lunch/dinner plates. There is a charge to use a card, so bring cash. The place is small and can get crowded but service is fast and the tables are quickly turned over/cleaned.
We ordered barbacoa, carnitas, pollo, and al pastor tacos. The barbacoa was good, I suspect made with chuck roast and I personally prefer cheek meat or goat. It was good but not great. The pollo was seasoned well and was good. The carnitas was the best of the meats. Very tender and flavorful. The Al pastor had a good smokiness and flavor.
They have a salsa bar where you can serve yourself. The salsa verde is great. They also have limes and escabeche— this alone makes this place worth a stop. When you add the serve yourself aquas frescas, it earns a solid five star. I tried Jamaica, melón, and Piña. All were good and not too sweet or syrupy. The melón was the best of the three.
Our tacos came with a roasted Serrano that was perfectly spicy. I will definitely come back and explore more of the menu!“

“My husband and I went here for date night after a friend recommended it to us. It was delicious, best chimichangas I’ve had and with the fajita steak meat - amazing! “Before the pandemic we had a little server that we went to up there at Ted's and she would come by and she would say isn't everything delicious does it everything tastes wonderful isn't it tasty she was awesome and she made the food tastes wonderful I guess because we did not agree with the food our server was great the food was not what we remember of course coming into Ted's we both said wouldn't it be wonderful if we could get that same experience we did not it had nothing to do with their service it was all about the food the food was substandard although we only paid for our drinks“

“We became regular customers there several years ago after having eaten at a number of other Mexican restaurants in OKC. The exceptional food & friendly service have kept us going back. The quality of the food is consistent & they have the best Borracho beans I have eaten anywhere. .They are very welcoming & the dining room is always spotless.“
