“The food is great! It’s always hot and fresh. Employees are great. The only bad thing is it’s so hot in there. I checked the thermostat as I was leaving and it said it was 87 degrees. It was set at 70!! So obviously there is something up with the AC unit. It needs to be fixed ASAP. I mean if it’s that hot in lobby can you imagine what it’s like in the back where the employees are?? Do better Taco Bueno!!! The employees do not deserve to be subjected to that kind of heat if there is an available AC unit“

“I was raised with Taco Bueno and its still my favorite choice over other restaurants. However! Taco Bueno in all of Tulsa over the years has become dumps. The restaurants are usually a mess and the service mediocre at best. Most locations serve subpar food. Even after the decline over the years I cant stop going. Now with that said, I visited this location today at around 4pm and I was impressed with the efficiency the staff was and attentive the manager was and even though it needs a few repairs it was like I walked into Taco Bueno in the late 90's early 2000. I was very shocked of how the team is holding it together like they are! I will definitely make this location my spot for the Bueno craving ! I hope this gets to the team here and they need to know just how good they are doing. So I definitely recommend anyone to visit them and see for yourself. I could go on and on about my experience today June 24th 2026. But I would have so much more to say and have more of an article than a review. Even though its already a long review haha.
Trust me you will see the difference here if you are a Bueno head again this team at this location needs to be told they are doing a fantastic job and to keep striving to do better than what they are already doing. Amazing service! Great food! A clean dinning room! Clean bathrooms! And the salsa Bar had use by dates! I also observed the manager filling out a temp log. Im telling you my mind was blown seeing this after dealing with all the other locations lack of care. Again I can not say it enough. Great Job Mangers and Crew!!!!“

“Been here 3 times in the last month. So far it's our new favorite place. Beef enchiladas with tex mex sauce is the epic Tex Mex meal Ive been missing for years. Queso & Compuesto queso is great. Salsa is different but I like it, rest of my family not so much. Chips are perfect. Staff id great. Not one issue. Highly recommend.“

“I have been going here since I was a little girl, and I love this place! But tonight, we went out to eat with some family and we had kids and my toddler was crying and then walking around in circles and the staff was still SO nice to me about it as I was struggling to keep him still. Then at the end we went to the claw machine and lost but the manager I think that’s who it is or owner unsure but we always see him and he’s so nice, he gave the kids all a free ball!!! I don’t ever want this place to go out of business!! Always 110% satisfied !!!“
