“My family went to eat breakfast at Ernie’s this past Sunday. My 7 year old daughter only eats a few things and one of her favorite things is an egg in the basket. Chris made his version and it wasn’t the way my daughter likes it so he went back and made it exactly how she wanted! They were very accommodating to my kids and also the chicken and dressing was top notch!!❤️“

“We enjoy this place. We had never heard of it and were pleasantly surprised to find it. They have a beautiful setting on a lake and it will only get better because they’re fixing it up. The meals we’ve had have been delicious but maybe the chef is doing too much sometimes? Maybe keep things a bit simpler? Portions are huge so it’s nice to know you’ll have leftovers. The waitstaff are very friendly and helpful with any questions you may have.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nick’s Family Restaurant, and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience. From the moment we walked in, the warm, welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made sure we had everything we needed. The menu offers a great variety of dishes, with something for everyone—whether you're in the mood for a hearty breakfast, a fresh salad, or a comforting lunch. I opted for the catfish fillet and iced tea it was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked with generous portions and iced tea is best one. What really sets Nick’s apart is the consistency and heart that goes into every meal. You can tell the food is made with care, and that’s not something you find every day. The prices are also very reasonable, making it a fantastic spot for a casual yet satisfying meal. If you're looking for a cozy, family-friendly place with great food and excellent service, Nick's Family Restaurant is definitely worth a visit. I can't wait to come back!“

“We live between Durant and Denison. And we choose Denison even if it’s out of the way. We have two amazing servers that we absolutely love. Lexi and Jose. They are fast, courteous, efficient and friendly.“

“This place is amazing! I have not had a chance to visit until recently and regret not coming sooner. Amazing restaurant and a gem for sure! Every item on the menu looks good. I had a burger and fries and my husband had the catfish. The pie is amazing also. Looking forward to the next visit.“
