“Simple and clean with friendly service and excellent food. I dropped in for the first time and had tacos for lunch and I’ll definitely be back. Their tacos taste great and the Smokey red sauce is a perfect topping. Add a cold Jarritos to finish it off just right.“

1. Signage visible from the street is essential.
2. Wait times over 1 hr is not sustainable.
3. Charging $0.99 for a 1oz side of Ketchup, Ranch, or BBQ sauce felt like I was being taken advantage of. At least 1 ranch is typically free with wings, ketchup is typically free with fries.
4. $4.00 for a drink/fries combo with sweet tea as the only drink option also fell short.
5. The fried okra was sliced too thin; stretching food at a loss of flavor is a huge miss.
Overall, I gave 5 stars to this black-owned business with good food and great purpose. I look forward to seeing this establishment thrive. Good luck!“

Got the slider mini burger because I'm trying to be mindful about portions and it was really good! They've got homemade sauces and ranch too. Iona was pure gold from the moment she greeted us to the farewell at the end of the night. We had a large party and she was very patient with us, some knowing what they wanted and some that did not. The steak was cooked perfectly, loved the potatoes, beans, plantains, tortillas, salsa and even the rice is good but I don’t eat corn so I had to pick that out. My wife got the ranchero burrito and the ranchero sauce tasted more like a tomato soup which wasn’t my wife’s favorite. I loved the horchata. The French toast was also well done.
Service was decent.

Cons: the seating was very intimate. You sit super close to everyone and is kinda crammed. The noise level is also really loud.

We also got housemade limeade, a cortado & a Mazapan Latte. What?! We do not get sweet coffee drinks EVER!
