It is a little bothersome getting to this location due to the construction on HWY 75, But Michael,Jared and Elijah make it worth the hassle of the construction.“

It also came with two slices of toast. White, wheat, rye or sourdough. My friend got the country fried pork chops, came with eggs and a biscuit with gravy and then he ordered a side of French toast. Everything was spot on. Quick, friendly service. I asked for two bowls for my leftovers and waitress was kind enough to bring me a fresh bowl of gravy and two to go drinks.“

Well, life has a way of humbling us. For the first time ever, I found out I’m prediabetic. I can’t have gluten. I can’t have dairy. I have high cholesterol. The list just kept growing. Prior to this past Monday—from the time I’m writing this on Google Maps—I had no idea my entire diet, and honestly my life, was about to change.

My doctor told me, “If you don’t start now, you’ll need serious medication,” and that could even put my flying career at risk. So Tuesday, I began a completely new diet. And let me tell you, I’ve been starving these last three days, eating nothing I’m accustomed to.

That’s why I call Salads To Go an oasis. This afternoon, I was desperate. Across the street was the old spot where I’d grab a torta or some greasy tacos—calling my name from a distance, begging me to come back. Instead, I pulled into this drive-thru for the first time.

What did I find? Salads. All salads. And at that moment, the Greek salad was the most beautiful thing I’d ever seen.

Now I understand why places like this exist. There are people like me who simply can’t risk it anymore. For some of us, it isn’t a trend—it’s our only option. And I’m genuinely grateful places like this are here.

Cobb salad had way too much dressing and it was already mixed in. the chicken or what they called chicken on it was inedible. beware they charge you $2 for each little cup of sauce with the garlic knots and 2.95 for each pizza ingredient. way over priced and bad quality. we'll stick with hideaway from now on.“

We git there and they asked for a reservation and I told them what the online said. They reacted annoyed. They did seat us but the tables was dirty. The cleaned cheese off the table but the table cloth was dirty. I ordered lasagna it was okay it was hot ob the outside but I the center it was tepid to cool. I don't know if I will go back again. “For the most part hideaway is a good place to eat. But my visit last night was no so good. We set down ordered our drinks and appetizers. My wife had to remind our waiter to bring me my beer. He then took our pizza order. Our appetizers arrived warm not hot like they had been setting on the counter too long. We eat them and just thought they are a little busy, no harm. 20 min later our pizza was brought out. The crust was warm and the toppings were cold. We told our waiter and he went and got the manager who said do you want to box it up and take it home and warm it up? I told him no and he came back I will give it to you for free. I again said no I will pay for my beer, wife’s drink and raviolis. The manager would hardly make eye contact with my with and I and when he laid the bill on the table he said sorry as he walked off. The waiter wasn’t much better instead of playing games with the table behind us he should have been keeping a eye on our orders. I will continue to eat at hideaways just not the one on S. Memorial.“
