“Wow! My husband and I visited Rouge Local and it was perfection! I had a chicken fried steak and it fork tender, no knife needed!! My husband had the ribeye and he said it was cooked perfectly and delish!!! On top of the food the wait staff, incredible! It is LaBor Day weekend so we knew they would be busy, we got seated right away and service was top notch! 10/10“

“How often do you go out to eat nowadays only to be disappointed by the quality of food you received? My answer is quite often. The food here was fresh, well seasoned and really quite tasty. I got the street tacos, 1 skrimp, 1 chkn, 1 brisket. All the meat selections were great. No fat or gristle, as is usually the case. The wait staff are young and friendly and efficient enough. Oh yeah, the Mac and Cheese is homemade goodness. The only thing that sucks is I would have to drive 3+ hours to go back. That said, I will be back. Yum yum.“

Service was excellent and accommodating and several had the chicken fried steak for brunch. They don’t usually prepare for brunch but they did and it was excellent!!“

“The chicken fried steak served here is the thickest, most flavorful, most tender steak I have ever eaten. Freshly hand battered and fried just right. The gravy complimented the steak and mashed potatoes. The server was very friendly and service was great. The menu has many great choices to choose from so a repeat visit will be necessary as this was our first experience at Beavers Bend Restaurant. We vacation here a couple times a year and sure glad we discovered this great restaurant.“
