Outstanding meal! Charlie's Chicken is one of the things I miss about living back home. The place was clean and everyone was super friendly. Had the spicy chunks for the first time. They were pretty good but I might get a mix with original next time. This location still has gizzards too if you are interested. It was good to be home! Hopefully, I will see you soon Oklahoma!
Just passing through but staying overnight in Muskogee. We noticed Charlie's had chicken and dumplings for their daily special. We were pleasantly surprised in that they were full of chicken and quite tasty! Their rolls are excellent as well. Very soft and sweet and they serve honey on the table. Who needs butter? We recommend a stop here-

I wentbthrough the drive through. The last time OlI went I got the chicken and dumpling dinner. They put a lot of black pepper. Which isn't a bad thing if they'd just put a tad more salt in it. Needs more or equal amounts of salt as to the pepper.
