We did the Take Home and Heat for Christmas and it was amazing.
The food was good as most every time I go and the waitstaff was extremely pleasant. Cracker Barrel Old Country Store is a restaurant that offers a variety of meals, including specific options for vegetarians such as a loaded sweet potato with marshmallows, pecans, and butter, or a loaded baked potato without bacon. The breakfast menu includes a new summer item of French toast with cream cheese, blueberries, and strawberries. The food is generally enjoyable, with many customers praising the quality and friendly service, especially noting a sweet waitress with braces and glasses who was described as super awesome. However, some reviews mention inconsistencies, such as the roast beef sometimes not being tender and service occasionally lacking enthusiasm. The restaurant can be busy, leading to wait times, but many find it worth the wait and enjoy browsing the store while waiting. The atmosphere can be loud when crowded, but it remains a popular place for a filling meal. Customers have also enjoyed dishes like chicken tenders, which are recommended for repeat orders. Accessibility can be an issue, as there isn't enough room for wheelchairs and walkers, making navigation challenging for some elderly or handicapped guests. Overall, Cracker Barrel continues to be a great spot for hearty meals and a welcoming experience.
