Sonic Drive-In in Oklahoma City

“Made a last minute decision to stop by on the way to a friends house, which is approximately 5 miles from my friends house, so I stopped in placed my which was prepared quickly and delivered by very nice carhop! I left and went to destination and the food was still hot and delicious!“

“I stop by this Sonic frequently. The food is good, the beverages are awesome. Recently I got a double smash burger and quite frankly it beat the competition, including some of the other Sonics close by. I wish I could get ice cream to go, but in the summer it melts before I get home.

“Friendly staff. Drink prices have gotten crazy high and that often leads to no tip. Usually they do good. Sometimes the food is bad. Got a beef jerky hotdog with a little bit of cheese. At least the bun was good. This location is a Five most of the time but sometimes it’s a One. So probably a B- overall. Which is 80%. Which is four out of five. So four stars. You will be pleased most of the time… like eight out of ten times.“

“Great food made while you wait. Great diet and sugar free options You would think someone in marketing would put a menu on both sides of the parking slot so the driver doesn’t have to always read the menu. I only go by myself because of that. As a marketing business, I’ve mentioned the double menu idea to friends over the years and everyone thinks it would solve the ordering problem. I use it as an example of businesses not going through the ordering process except at corporate. Definitely increase orders with everyone in the vehicle looking at all the options. With those great pictures children would drive parents crazy to go all the time.“

“Always a classic stop! This location is particularly good. Ordered burger combo & wacky pack (burger). Food was fresh & hot! Fries were PERFECT. We ordered "well done" fries. Burgers were made exactly to order and tasted great! Excellent job Sonic folks! Thanks for preparing a delicious meal with care. We will be back.“

“Sonic's drinks are so good that I almost always order one for each hand.
Bonus Bang - their burgers are delicious as are the onion rings and the tator tots!
Occasionally, it can take a little longer than it should to get your order out to your car, but I never really mind too much because it's easy to see that they're busy plus the order is always correct when they skate it out to your car door.
That's why they're known as 'America's Drive-In'!“

“The Route 44 cherry is absolutely the best way to cool down and fill up. I been working on mine about two hours now and it's still a slush. With this heat I figured it would have melted by now. Sonic has always done it right. I was there in the beginning and the #2 with tots and a strawberry shake is still America's best meal.“

“Sonic always deliver for what I want when I want to eat here. I’ve had their new buffalo chicken bites twice and it does the job, not sure if I like with ranch dressing but to each it own. I like their cheeseburger with everything on it which I had and a corn dog. It hit the spot, food was fresh, tasty, it did what it was supposed to do, hit the spot!“

“Order was fast and accurate, appreciated that they didn’t hand over a complete mess from overfilling the slush drinks like other locations do. The card reader wouldn’t work, and whoever was manning the tots station today went way too heavy on the salt (and included a bunch of salt packets no one asked for in my bag lol)“

“Sonic has certainly gone downhill. We ordered a small onion ring and got 3 rings for $3.19!!! That’s over a dollar each for three medium sized rings. The hamburger meat has once again been stepped down to what appears is a lower grade of odd tasting meat, in the last few months and the price has gone up. Sadly, our well known Oklahoma company is digressing and we will begin to look elsewhere for our snacks and quick meals….“

“I have several sonics that I will frequent from time to time. For the most part, they are pretty consistent in quality and service. I must say though that there is something different about this particular sonic and if you haven’t been to it, you probably should go. I have never gone there when I haven’t gotten my food piping hot. This sonic seems to take a little extra care and it shows.“

“Parking: Parking is better at the location on 23rd. There’s plenty of parking for both online/app orders AND for people that want to order when they get there not using any devices. Some of the other locations don’t offer equal parking for both situations.“

“So glad they are back in business here in El Reno. My bacon cheese burger was hot & fresh bacon was crispy but not over cooked and my chili cheese tots were great!! It had just the right amount of chili and cheese. Very pleased, keep whoever is working food prep and give them a raise. They are doing a great job

Parking: There is plenty of parking but as a passenger in the car looking at the menu board is very difficult. May I suggest using the back of the menu on the stall next to each spot to view you put pictures on should have a full menu to view. It's just an idea.“

“Alright so I normally have to get the sonic near me ether 122nd and penn or britton and Waverly. But due to recent bad experiences I just stopped eating at sonic all together... randomly stopped by the one here on north may and let's say the mobile order messed up and didn't price things correctly
Brought it up to the young lady who was bringing my food out and she politely just said
Let me go talk to my manager and see
She came out said he would fix it
She came back out with the fixed order and even politely explained how the way I ordered the food messed up the coupon
By far the best sonic I have been to on this side of town in awhile food was good service good.

“honestly the best sonic here in okc, the other ones are more than often gross and bring out soggy fries or tater tots but this one brought out food that was definitely freshly cooked and the fries were so crispy and the $2 wraps were the best ive had from a sonic“

“Very good food. Seemed understaffed or something at the time I went because it took a bit yet the people were working hard. Funny detail, I always ask for a specific amount of sauce(because I’ll have some extra in my car or something) and this is the first time I’ve ever gotten the exact amount back. ??“

“Desirae, the new manager is amazing, ive had issues with this location in the past and the issues would never get resolved. She was on top of it immediately and got me and my pregnant GF taken care of. Very professional and very good customer service.“

“The store is filled with young women that are definitely not aware of their surroundings or flat do not care . Extremely loud, reach in front of you, and smell of extracurricular smoking. Out of alot of products, flat irons, sugar scrubs, different shades of base in the more warm tones.“

“They may be short staffed, but food was perfectly made and delicious. The wait time was not out of the ordinary. However, if it is packed and short staffed, then be paitent. I honestly believe most of the customers that had a bad time, were probably rude. As in, rude from the beginning and do not know how to act like a decent human being. Just due to my personal experiences working in customer service, especially in Oklahoma. If there is something wrong with your order, then all you got to do is go back through the drive-thru. “Hands down the best service I've ever had at a sonic I believe the ladies name was Linzy? I stopped for a breakfast burrito and even though I said I didn't want ketchup or salsa she put it in the bag just in case she said. Then as she delivered other orders she came by and checked if I needed anything. Then even came to take my trash. She waited on me like we were in a diner. I was staggered!“

“I don’t usually write reviews, but this Sonic absolutely deserves it. Even though I live right next to a different Sonic, I always go out of my way to come to this one instead—and it’s 100% worth the extra drive every time. The service is quick, and most importantly, the staff are incredibly polite, friendly, and respectful. You can tell they care about their customers.

Everyone from the carhops to the people taking orders is just genuinely kind and helpful, which makes such a difference.

It’s rare to find a fast food place that consistently gives great service and makes you feel welcome, but this Sonic has never let me down. Highly recommend!“
