I just so happen to meet one of the owners Rebecca today as she was in working from home. She is super super sweet! Loved that this place had gluten free options too (best GF donut!) “EG is my go-to coffee shop work spot. The staff is super friendly, and I love the selection of teas available. It's so nice to have a local bubble tea and hot tea shop. The cinnamon plum is my favorite afternoon tea if you're looking for something delicious and want to avoid caffeine. Also, they are the only place I've ever been to that gets the balance of the rose and lavender right for the milk teas. (It's tricky to do without it winding up tasting like soap, so definitely a testament to their staff's skills!)“

At times, you will have to wait long for food. But I understand the staffing issues the shawnee locations have. The staff genuinely do their best even in tough rushes.
