“Main thing to know or expect is, yes, they make everything there, and everything was fantastic when we stopped in the other day for breakfast.
Jessica gave great service and started by offering fresh squeezed OJ or name brand coffee. I looked at the menu just until I saw they had a meatless dish with hollandaise AND hash browns. Done.
I go to restaurants for breakfast to get things I can't really easily cook at home, and if you don't have similar aspirations you should, I think, try harder bro. Don't offer me home fries and think you can call yourself a professional when I can do the same thing in 20 minutes with what's in my cabinets. D'Lite gets this and serves hash browns and hollandaise. If I made these at home they wouldn't be as good and I'd still be cleaning my kitchen amen. Scramble was great. Pancake was great- just the right amount of griddled on the outside.
Now I know they haven't been open too long and some things may change or be works in progress The food is great and the prices are totally reasonable. No legit complaints. However. The decor is confusing. It's like the kitchen and the dining room are two different restaurants, and the exterior is just non existent, which might be just a result of the space it's in, however, they could really use a nice sign, and that sign should look like the kitchen, and it would definitely bring people in. Believe me, as a guy who used to pull off the road to eat a lot of late night food, a pretty sign is all it takes. Lastly, I know it says bakery on the sign but where are the bakery items? Easy ones like scones and blondies or hard ones like croissants, bagels, eclairs... none! Remember what I said about easy to make at home? Biscuits and dinner rolls don't count, bros. That's literally day one in pastry school.
All in all D'Lite is better food than 90% of the breakfasts I've had in Tulsa and they deserve your business. I hope with some of the profits they build a sexy sign in the parking lot and replace the little pendant lights above the tables because I hate them.“

“I do not believe in five-star reviews—ultimately, I think most places can improve. Barons on 1st is an exception. From beginning to end, top to bottom, the experience honors the tradition of fine dining without feeling completely pretentious. I chose to celebrate my birthday there with a friend, and Hayden was our server. We were so well cared for the entire dinner, and every dish that came out was better than the last.

We started with oysters Rockefeller, which were so delicious. The oysters were perfectly cooked, and the dressing was tasty. Then we shared a chopped salad, unlike any I’ve had before. The dressing is delicious, and the presentation is one of a kind.

Then came the tomahawk!!! Michael Craddock (one of my favorite humans) rolled the steak out and dressed it tableside with butter and rosemary. The presentation was as much fun as the dish and delicious. A perfectly cooked cut of meat on the bone with asparagus and potatoes. Out of this world good.

Can we also mention the bread course? As a bread baker, the star was absolutely the tomato jam loaf. I asked for seconds to give it a look and see how to recreate it. So so so delicious.

Of course, we had to end on dessert, and the coconut cream pie delivers on every level: it's delightful, light, and flavorful.

You will spend a pretty penny on the meal, but it will be worth every single penny. It is a not-to-miss Tulsa foodie experience. Bravo to Chef Donaldson (a true Tulsa treasure).“

“My family was in Tulsa Christmas eve weekend. We came to see the Rhema Christmas lights on Friday and the gathering place park on Saturday (both amazing!). On our way out of town we needed to eat lunch before we drove back the KC, MO. I just did a Google search best restaurants near us. We enjoy finding places we have never been before and hopefully non chains while on road trips. Upon searching through a few the high amount of reviews along with the high amount of positive reviews took me to search the website. I was instantly intrigued by the menu and fresh cut fries always catches my eye! So we decided to go to the brook! We were NOT disappointed at all! First cute neighborhood lots of neat shops etc and the building looked cool. The workers were very nice and although busy were attentive. We started with queso and chips and after eating almost all of the queso were offered a 2nd cup for free! I ordered the ground beef taco wrap with fries, my husband got a SW chicken wrap with mashed potatoes and my son got Mac n cheese. No one was disappointed. The fries, mashed pot and Mc n cheese were all frsh and definitely homeade. my taco burrito was delicious and very big..enough for a 2nd meal the next day. My husband's was the same! My son loved his Mac! I would give this place 10 stars if I could!“
