Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant Reviews
Very nice and friendly service. A bit pricey but, I wouldn't go out to eat! If, I couldn't afford it! 81st St. is the go to for us Okmulgee FOLKS! and all 14,000 of us love Emmy.
I dont live here but I could walk from the hotel. Food was good, service was fast.
I always like to try something different and this time I had the grilled quesadillia with cilantro lime rice and creamy spinach casserole. Everything was awesome but if you like spinach go for the get the casserole. It was amazing.
My friend had the nachos which were a ton and they heat up well in the airfryer.
Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with a variety of Tex-Mex options. The salsa, especially the tomatillo salsa, is praised for its exceptional flavor. Customers have enjoyed the Durango burrito and the two enchilada lunch special, both of which are described as delicious. The restaurant is family-friendly, with a special dish for kids that includes grilled chicken, rice, and cheese, which kids love. The staff is attentive and accommodating, with some staff members going out of their way to keep drinks full and provide good service. For example, one staff member allowed outdoor seating and even offered to put up an umbrella to keep out the sun. The food is well-prepared and flavorful, with options like grilled quesadillia with cilantro lime rice and creamy spinach casserole, which is highly recommended for spinach lovers. Customers have also appreciated the large portions, such as the nachos that heat up well in an air fryer. While service quality can vary, overall, Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant remains a reliable choice for authentic and tasty Tex-Mex cuisine in a clean and inviting atmosphere.
