Really good food, but it's that franchise look. Oh well. Anyway, I've eaten at Chimi's since they opened the first one on the north side of Cherry Street many years ago. Family meals, father/daughter check-ins, boss and me - it all works there. We've even ordered for delivery (best Mexican delivery in Tulsa - it arrives looking like food).
Very good, old fashioned Tex-Mex dishes. Homemade guacamole and chips, food served on piping hot plates, and service that is spot on.Their daily lunch specials are reasonably priced and filling. They just redid their parking lot so that it is easier to get in and out.Very good place to take the family or just hang out with some friends and have some adult drinks.

I haven't been ages. I enjoy making my own Mexican food. Prices on everything and everywhere have gone up so much and when you're talking about Mexican food is basically basic. Beans, rice, guacamole, sizzling pork or sizzling beef. I have felt that it's kind of overrated I would rather go to East Tulsa and get some real Mexican food.
