Date of visit 10/29/222The dark wood décor of the old Michael V’s restaurant adapted perfectly to the transition of the building into Chippers. It looks like the inside of an upscale New Orleans restaurant. Chippers has added bright panels of modern art and the smooth sound of soft jazz in the background. My wife and I decided to try this place on a whim yesterday and we weren't disappointed! The staff was friendly, even the owner/chef made his rounds in the restaurant checking on tables. The portions are huge, and the food was truly delicious. We filled up on the loaded fries but still powered through our meals (I had the shrimp/chicken New Orleans, my wife had one of the Gouda Mac n cheese bowls with boneless chicken) and I can guarantee we will be back!
