This place is amazing for fried chicken! If you like chicken shack type fried chicken like KFC and Popeyes but something about the chicken chunks dinners hit so hard! Love this place must try if you like fried chicken!!

I grew up in North Carolina, as deep into Chicken Country as you can get. I've traveled far and wide, eaten a mountain of chicken - Charlie's is as good as any takeout fried chicken I have eaten. The sides are good and varied. The service has been good every time I've visited (I'm retired and make it a point not to eat at rush hour). I'm scratching my noggin that there are low reviews for Charlie's on this site.
