“Flavors pop here more than many of our metro Chinese takeouts. And they aren't afraid of using pepper in some dishes. Everything is served super steaming hot here, so be prepared to wait on food to cool some less you scald your mouth. General Tso's breading isn't as crisp here as it often is at other places, since it is swimming in sauce, which I usually dislike..But the sauce had the right balance of spicy and sweet and we all enjoyed it. Spicy shrimp had a good amount of plump, larger-sized shrimp than you usually get elsewhere. Pork lo mein noodles were very oily but had nice flavor with big chunks of bbq pork throughout. We all ate that right up since we didn't have to wait for it to cool. Hot and sour soup was super peppery but yummy with lots of large mushrooms in it. White rice was cooked right. With reasonable menu prices and large portions, we had a nice sized meal for three for only around $20. They don't offer courtesy water, it's $1 a bottle. Woman said reason is because they are all takeout...except that cups are stacked right next to the register, and there are three tables to dine at. They aren't the warmest of folks here, but service was decent enough. I wish they were closer to my house so I can try more of their menu.“
“Everything was great as always. The steam buns, crispy chicken, takoyaki, and the tomato soup with all the toppings. The 4 pieces of beef seem small but there’s a bit rolled up. The toppings heats up in the piping hot clay pot. It’s so good and I love this place on a cold day. You won’t leave hungry. Portion and price are reasonable and worth it.“
“Food is gourmet quality. I was in a group of 16 on a Saturday night and they were short staffed. One very busy waitress handling all orders and cash register. It took an hour to get our drinks. That said, I would go back at a less busy time. Lots of great appetizers and a huge menu.“
“Amazing customer service, so kind and with a smile. Food was delicious and large portion. We love the piano and string covers of modern songs that they play. Clean establishment.Wheelchair accessibility: Bit tight but does fit with my 20” seat and ramp is steep but doable.“
“I love those place. Great food and great people. My favorite is the sesame chicken. The sauce comes on the side and it is amazing. The chow mien, fried rice, and lo mien are all great choices as well. Cheap tasty and fast just remember it’s cash only!“
“I am originally from the NE and I am used to good Asian Cuisine. This has by far been my favorite place to go and every time I take a friend here or family member, they love it as much as I do. Reasonably priced for AMAZING food!Parking: Great place“
“First off, the vibes are just amazing. Everyone is so friendly and the entire place is clean. I won't be going anywhere else. EVERYTHING I've tried has been SO delicious. Reminds me of the delicious mall Chinese & the Bourbon chicken is a MUST try.“
“Great food. Big portions. Relatively cheap. It's the best Chinese joint in OKC period. Don't let the building appearance fool you. It's drive through only. Drive around the building and an older Asian lady will come outside and take your order. Her English is very poor and she will not write down what you said, but take heed that your order was accurately taken and transmitted to the cook. Her daughter will ring you up at the window. It's cash only. Thank me later.“
“We got take out from this restaurant and it was amazing, they had it ready at the time they said they would- the food was delicious. Everything we ordered was perfect, this restaurant is a new family favorite. We ordered the crab Rangoon, the steamed dumplings the pork egg rolls, my son got the roasted pork soft noodles I got the pork rice noodles and my daughter got the beef and vegetables everything was perfect and so yummy.Dietary restrictions: I'm gluten free and they have rice noodles!Kid-friendliness: My kids are picky and they loved everything“
“My mom and I are in OKC for a Dr appt and I'm glad we found this gem on Google. Absolutely did not disappoint. Price was fair for the portions, and definitely worth it for the taste and quality. Thoroughly enjoyed it and if we comeback for another visit, we will return. The service of the young gentleman was on point as well!! 5+++ ?Best hot and sour soup!“
“I have tried many things on the menu now. Both Oriental and American dishes. They have been very good, both in flavor and quantity and always consistent. In my opinion, this is what makes a normal restraunt into a great restraunt. You can not go wrong by eating here, any time of day. Service is very good also. Thus...the 5 stars!“
“We eat here probably once every couple of weeks. It's our go to Chinese restaurant. We love that they do the orange chicken as a kids meal because my little loves it. Hubby also gets the orange chicken. I love their sweet and sour chicken! Only thing I've found that I'm not a huge fan of is the chicken fried rice, but everything else by far makes up for it to me.“
“Have gone to Nhinja for years and love all locations. Typically get gyoza, chicken fried rice and the thunder roll. Some of the employees are young and still in training but they typically do a good job. I don’t think I’ve ever eaten inside, typically take out which is an easy process. Definitely a go to stop for the weekends.“
“The food is picked up through drive-through only it is best to call before you go and just tell them the name on your order example I am picking up for Chris.Great foodVegetarian options: Vegetable fried rice or vegetable lo mein or you can order anything with just vegetable just let them know when you call or go through the drive-through reasonable prices“
“It was an okayish place. We've ordered the Crab Rangoon, Chicken Fried Rice and Kung Pao Chicken. The Kung Pao Chicken wasn't what I was hoping for but it was still good. Crab Rangoons are great and fried rice was amazing as well. I'd definitely revisit to taste more items on their menu.“
“Another great sushi place not too far from my house! They have a special menu on Tuesday's for certain but still a lot, signature sushi rolls so definitely check it out! It was very quiet and empty when I went but it was a little late in the day. None the less that didn't bother me. Only problem was that I ate my sushi too fast. I WILL BE BACK.“
“We didn’t expect Golden Phoenix to be very busy on a Tuesday lunch time. They were packed. Now, we know why. Food was good. We got the tripe and chicken feet dim sum. Pretty authentic. We also got the shrimp fried rice. We didn’t get pictures because it was devoured by kids before I could even take pictures. Great experience. We will eat here again when we are in town.“
“If you are craving fresh made authentic Vietnamese food this is a must stop!! They had daily specials that are packed with flavor and also priced at an incredible value . We love coming here since we found it I recommend the Beef Pho ! We ate here both for $20 and are full as could be thank you !“
“I had their Korean Spicy BBQ wings at the Tulsa state fair this week and it has surpassed any fair food I’ve ever had. (Maybe even the best chicken wings I have EVER tasted in my life) I normally don’t like bone in chicken, but it was so good I didn’t even care and probably could’ve eaten the bone itself ? It was freaking amazing. I am now considering driving 2.5 to OKC just to get some more ?“
“I have ordered from here quite a few times and tonight the food was exceptional. Everything we ordered was delicious! We had to force ourselves to stop eating it was so good. We ordered cream cheese ragouns, steamed dumplings, general tso chicken, French fries and the combination rice. Definitely not disappointed tonight. The lady at the counter was very pleasant as well which made this visit even better.“
“I love this place. I love their chicken fried rice. The spicy and non spicy version. I like to get both to bring down the heat in the spicy by mixing them together. It doesn't help much lol but it's so yummy. The best chicken fried rice I've ever had. ? all the flavors are so satisfying to my taste buds. Very delicious. I took a picture of both versions. They look the same but different.“
“A dinner is close to 10 dollars but they give you A LOT. The food is good and the service is pretty quick depending on the line. It's drive through only and you wait in your car for them to bring your food to you. They take cash and card. Go here maybe once or twice a month if I don't want to cook. Their pork fries rice is good.Parking: You can park in front of the store.“
“谢谢 Food was ready quickly and packaged well. Arrived still nice and warm and nothing was missing. The peach buns and almond cookies were really adorable and the food serving was really reasonable for the price. I think the pork buns could have been a little fresher/more filled, but I also ordered pretty late. My only complaint would be that they gave me so much sesame chicken and sauce in the the (non vented) container that it was mushy when I got it. I think next time I would just request less sauce and put the rest on the side to prevent it from happening. Eating in, opening faster, or getting a different entree would also probably circumvent this issue. Overall I recommend this restaurant, just wish I had thought to ask for sauce adjustment!! Got extra to eat on through week lol. May throw it in the oven and see if it crisps it up a little or ruins it. ?“
“the mapo tofu here is the best mapo tofu i ever had in my life. i highly suspect there is a master chef working in the kitchen of this restaurant. this is one of the top 3 best restaurants in OKC. truly a place to bring your family when they are visiting the city.previous review: this place feels strangely nostalgic. there is a vibe here that only exists in places that make you want to just bask in the moment of that moment. me and my girlfriend got food for take out. while we waited i noticed many nuances of the place. it is a place fitting of memories. the food here was quite good. what i noticed was that the food had a certain essence to them that clearly took them above others in the market. salt and pepper tofu was actually very interesting. the way the tofu is fried and textured but was softer in the inside but this degree of seperation was alarmingly pronounced. there was also a good amount of garlic which made the food exceptional. the scallions were the most delicious scallions i ever had. the sweet and sour shrimp is everything you want chinese-american food to be. the egg drop soup was painstakingly nostalgic in the most gritty way. the crab rangoon actually has a strong crab taste to them which was surprising. the food here is exceptionally good. when it comes to service they are also impeccable.“
“This was my first visit in over 4 years. The food was hot and fresh. Our waiter kept our table free of dirty plates and kept fresh drinks coming. Can't wait to visit again in the future.Parking: Large parking lot since the restaurant is located in a strip mall type setting. Would like to see more handicap parking spots since it was difficult to find a spot and I had to walk a bit of a distance.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps for easy wheelchair accessibility.“
“I’ve picked up here a lot for DoorDash. I’ve always said I’d come back and try it. I’m glad I did. I will say this is some of the best on this side of town. I will definitely be back. Thank Yall. It is take out only but that is fine with me.“
“Very big for a Chinese restaurant. Tons of options on food. Some which does not look appealing but does have decent flavor. My glass was never empty and table never dirty. Atmosphere was loud but its big so moving around was easy.Kid-friendliness: Tons of kids were there. Good pricing on kids entryWheelchair accessibility: Front parking.“
“Really enjoyed my eating experience there. I ordered the pho tai and spring rolls. I think they were the best spring rolls I had ever eaten. The pho was delicious as well. The lady working there was so nice and we got our food extremely fast. The atmosphere was very laid back and simple but clean. We will definitely be going back.“
“Spicy Korean bbq tofu tasted delicious. Service was very good at this location. I am glad they have more vegetarian options on the menu now than they used to.Vegetarian options: They have clearly labeled vegetarian dishes. And more vegetarian options than they used to in the past.“
“I’ve been coming here for almost 25 years and their shrimp fried rice is the best fried rice on the planet. I have family that moved away from Oklahoma and any time they are in town they always want to eat Egg Roll express. It’s unlike any fried rice you’ll get anywhere else in America. Simply the best!“
“First time here and we ordered the dinner for 2, absolutely delicious fresh Chinese food,I had given up hope on good food until I found them, flavorful chicken lo mein, pork fried rice, egg roll, crab Rangoon and eggdrop soup. Will be back again for sure.10/10“
“Its been a long time since I have enjoyed Chinese Food. That changed this evening. My family ordered food from this location for takeaway, we ordered a family deal that came with three entrees, wontons and egg rolls. All together it was $43 with tip. There was enough food for three and and plenty enough for another meal. In addition the food was amazing.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide doors and low counters to accommodate wheel chairs“
“So there’s more than one Chinese restaurant in Edmond named Great Wall. ?Anyways…. This place was just ok. I prefer the food from the other Great Wall restaurant off of Santa Fe. Food was hot, I ordered online using google. Same set up as the other place, no done in, family working….wonder if they are linked but food was not the same. ??♀️“
“THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT, VERY WELL MADE, I haven't ordered/ate MOO GO GAI PAN in a long time/YEARS or had it at any buffet bcuz the places I've been just do not make right since my move from Colorado Spgs, CO in 2010s IMO, except THIS place, including the HOT SOUR SOUP I hardly ever eaten that as well, until I went to this place I/family will be going back!Vegetarian options: Whatever you consider vegetarian everyone has their own liking of what that is ..Lol.Parking: I believe they have some disable labeled parking spots.“
“Very cool and friendly shop. The service is great, the atmosphere is nice, there is many different kinds of food and snacks to choose from. I highly recommend the mango smoothie. It is the absolute best smoothie I've ever had. 10 out of 10. I was having a bad day and then the smoothie completely turned it around. Thank you for being awesome. Definitely will return :)“
“This place has the BEST beef lo-mein and egg drop soup I have ever had. Noodles were soft, onions had a nice soft texture but still had crunch to them, beef was tender and well seasoned, and the sauce…oh man the sauce. Just perfect. Evenly coated everything and it was not salty. Literally just heaven with a chefs kiss.“
“This space has been occupied by various restaurants with this being the latest one. I was curious and thought of changing our Friday dinner plans when we saw this restaurant. However, while the lights were on, there was no one to acknowledge guests until we walk passed it again after we had our dinner. Maybe another time.“
“BEST Asian restaurant in town that is basically fast food , because they only take orders, there are a few places to sit, but that is only to wait a few minutes for your food!Very close to our home, so we eat there a lot!Only one small problem...make sure you know the times they are open. They do close early sometimes, if they run out of food & that happens once in a while. Family restaurant, so there is only much food...call in early, so you get your order in. You won't be dissatisfied or disappointed!!“
“Our group was there for dimsum and to celebrate Chinese new year and feed the dragons with money and we'll wishes. We all had a good time and the food was good. My only complaint was crispy pork could have been more well done and crisper.“
“Delicious lunch! Shrimp and vegetables from the lunch menu was very filling. Decor was ambient and cute but could use some dusting and attention. Reasonable prices. Love the south side location.Vegetarian options: Pork in egg rolls so ask for spring rolls.Pork in the pot stickers too.Egg drop soup has chicken broth.Hot and sour soup has pork“
“Very good food, definitely go during lunch hours for the buffet. Went once after lunch rush and the selection was understandably not as fresh, but still was good. Larger restaurants are the same, you can't keep replacing fresh food to feed the few late coming stragglers. Order off the menu if you want fresh food otherwise. Will return ?“
“Good value for great food I recommend this place for takeout 110% their combination platters are big enough to have leftovers for the next day! Awesome!! Lastly they get the food done quickly it was ready in 15 min just like they told me when I called and ordered it. Keep up the great service and food y'all thank you!!!“
“Old restaurant, and a local staple. Opened in 1973?? Not quite sure, but I know it was the 70’s. Delicious food, and the best crispy fried egg rolls around. There’s a bit of peanut butter in the recipe. Makes a WORLD of difference. Absolutely delicious. Small restaurant with dark lighting. Very quiet and you might end up having the place to yourself, but it’s good. This place actually closed down when the owner retired, but the locals here threw a fit. It was bought up again and I’m thankful they are reopened. We love it.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly place.“
“Private Kitchen is a small restaurant located in the building attached to Cao Nguyên Supermarket. Food is great here. The portion size is large. Private kitchen is meant for more of a family style dining, best suited for parties of 3 or more. Because of this style, it's really targeting more toward the Asian audience. If family dining style and sharing is not for you, then you may find it less appealing. Like previously mentioned, the food is actually quite good. The same thing cannot be said about the service however. The main problem is probably the language barrier. If you know Chinese you're set. If you don't, you may not get some answers to the questions you ask. We wanted hot tea and was told no hot water. We got really confused. Another problem is how the cost on some of the items on the menu are different. We pointed to the menu to order fried prawns which is around $20 but when we got the bill, we were charged $35 (really pricey for the smallest of shrimps). The good news was we told them we ordered what was on the menu and the menu says $20 so they reduced the price reflecting what was on the menu. So either they got our order wrong and gave us something different; guess we will never know.“
“loved eating here. all the negative comments in here .. don’t count, everything here is made by hand and from scratch! everything here was good, staff was so polite, and even though they were busy, they always made the dishes quick! will be back, recommend 10/10“
“My husband and I were walking around today and smelled the food from the side of the streets, it smelled so good we had to find it. Once we got there the gentleman was so sweet and made us feel at home. We ordered the sweet and sour chicken and egg roll with chicken on a stick. It was amazing. Probably the best I've had in awhile. Portions were huge and prices were great. So glad we found this place . We will definitely be back!!!“
“The food was great, and the service was fast! I ordered the orange beef with dumplings and an eggroll. The orange beef was very tasty, the dumplings were very tasty, but the dumpling sauce had a bit too much vinegar for my taste, and the eggroll was great! 7 out of 10!“
“What a kind, approachable family runs this place. It's a hole in the wall spot but a Great little kitchen with a knowledgeable chef at the woks. Lots of fun to watch and extremely good food flavor. I found this place by accident and will definitely be returning out of my way for the food here.“
“Holy wow!! This is where it's at❤️❤️ so much love and care is shown by everyone working here! The food is flavorful and fresh, not greasy and just so delicious as well as substantial. Thank you all!! We'll be ordering again from you soon! Best General Tso's and Combo fried rice ever!!!“
“We did take out. The food was awesome, and the service was excellent. Super friendly staff. I couldn't believe the amount of food we got for under $100. (Fed adults and there were still enough leftovers for 3 to have lunch the next day.)“
