“What a great meal from Golden Pita!!! We both enjoyed 2 main entrees of Chicken Shawarma and Shiska Kafka, delicious Lentil Soup, Salad with Pita’s and Baklava for dessert. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. We love to support this family owned restaurant, they are always wonderful and pleasant to deal with. The pricing is reasonable and worth it. “Really surprised at how well they dealt with gf/dietary issues. We did take out and when it got to the house we called to clarify and to make sure that the falafel were done in a separate fryer which they were. We also got a call back and a staff walked us through the whole order which was excellent. Everything was tasty, the portions were large. The hummus was very authentic. My only complaint would be the that the falafel were too fried so they hollowed out inside. Still very nice as a gf meal with lots of selection.“

“The Shawarma was good quality and good tasting they give you good portions. Everything was fresh and clean. I’m only deducting one star because the garlic sauce is not authentic. It should not be made with mayonnaise. That’s not real Middle Eastern garlic sauce.“

“We had a really good time at La Luna. My husband and I ordered the platter for 2 people which was quite
good. In my opinion, 3-4 people could have easily ate from it. The lentil soup was so warm and delicious, a really good appetizer to start with. The cold dips like the hummus and baba ganoush were amazing, especially the eggplant one. The meat skewers were also very tender and juicy but we couldn’t finish it after having the appetizers because the portions are just that good! I highly recommend trying out this place if you’re in the area. It’s halal and the staff are very kind, and take time to explain what the menu entails. 10/10!“

“OK so if we’re talking about spicy food, this place has spicy food. But in all honesty, I would say almost a little too spicy.

It kinda hurts a little to be honest, but you literally get what you ask for which is much better than some places I go when they say it’s spicy and it kinda only tickles.

Their fries are amazing. It’s almost like a Shawarma style meal, but it’sso much better. I highly recommend this place.“
