“yeah sure I'd reccomend to give it a try. this location was great when it first opened as they all are. I ordered from here last night and it was garbage and went IN to the garbage. All the veggies including pickle were old. onions had zero taste. tomatoes with thin n mushy falling apart I gagged and threw it out. wont be having it from this location or the grimsby one either. so disappointing“

“I went to this location just about an hour ago and ordered 5 subs (with some coupons). There was only one staff member working, a nice young lady with her hair tied into a bun. This girl deserves a good amount of recognition from management-- she took her time and made each of our subs very well-- while we were paying, we saw a lineup of about 4 people had accumulated. One large, pompous old man decided to make a scene, asking "what the hell was taking so long?" I hope this dunce knows that his vision obviously isn't top knotch; if he had opened his eyes, he would have noticied that one staff member was working and doing her best. She remained professional through the harassment-- please management, give her a pat on the back for doing the good job she did handling that large order all alone, despite the unnecessary verbal harassment from that oaf of a man.“

“Fantastic Banh Mi! Nothing locally to me even compares so I happily drive an hour from Kitchener and buy a bunch for my family to bring back! The toppings are absolutely packed full into the sandwich unlike other places and they have fresh veggies every single time. They’re quick, very friendly and happily separate toppings since I have a long ride home and worried it may make the bread a bit soggy. Thanks so much Mcqueens!“

“We had exceptional service from Mr. Sub in Waterdown. I reached out to Chris on short notice to prepare subs for a bus trip with clients and colleagues, and he went above and beyond to ensure our subs were freshly made and not soggy for the trip. Chris baked fresh buns the day before and stayed late in the evening to prepare the subs. He even came in very early the next day to slice the tomatoes and package separate containers for all the extra toppings and sauces. My clients and colleagues were very happy with lunch! It’s always great to support small businesses, and I truly appreciate Chris’s outstanding attention to detail.“

“one of the best sub i ever had in ontario.I got 4 vegetarian footlongs for my family under BOGO deal and had a very low expectations since they were giving 2 footlongs for the price of 1 but this location surprised me and our subs were fully loaded and very juice, also just finely grilled and toasted. “Mikes Subs is a local place here in Hamilton with various locations. This location I went to a few times to get a sub. I gotta say, their subs are always fresh and tasty. However, one time I found something that wasn't so tasty in my sub, a object that did not belong in a sub. Thankfully I noticed but be cautious. But I forgave them cause they're good and decent and local. The inside of Mikes Subs definitely leaves a lot to be deserved, which is generally why I always take it to go. However, you can get a lottery ticket here with your sub.“

“I have loved Pita Pit for so long! I always order a Deli Club. When they came out with their Deli Club Salad, my Mom fell in love, too! The food is always fresh, and the selection of cold and hot toppings is awesome. When we ordered a few months ago, the staff were making my moms large salad and literally put a handful of lettuce in it. I actually thought she was joking. I asked for more, as it was the base of the meal, and again, a small handful. Since then, every time we have had to beg for a full servings of the lettuce. I know it is the cheapest item. The last time I went in, it happened again! I let the staff know I wanted a full bowl and I kept asking for more until the bowl was filled properly. I absolutely would have paid for extra. I don't think the management staff would be happy if customers were not getting their money's worth. I will still eat from Pita Pit with the hope that they do better.“

These guys are friendly right off the bat, as well as being solidly competent, making your sub precisely the way you ask for it.They're also a bit more generous with their meats and cheeses than some other Subways tend to be.
