“yeah sure I'd reccomend to give it a try. this location was great when it first opened as they all are. I ordered from here last night and it was garbage and went IN to the garbage. All the veggies including pickle were old. onions had zero taste. tomatoes with thin n mushy falling apart I gagged and threw it out. wont be having it from this location or the grimsby one either. so disappointing“

“I went to this location just about an hour ago and ordered 5 subs (with some coupons). There was only one staff member working, a nice young lady with her hair tied into a bun. This girl deserves a good amount of recognition from management-- she took her time and made each of our subs very well-- while we were paying, we saw a lineup of about 4 people had accumulated. One large, pompous old man decided to make a scene, asking "what the hell was taking so long?" I hope this dunce knows that his vision obviously isn't top knotch; if he had opened his eyes, he would have noticied that one staff member was working and doing her best. She remained professional through the harassment-- please management, give her a pat on the back for doing the good job she did handling that large order all alone, despite the unnecessary verbal harassment from that oaf of a man.“

This location was a bit busy when I visited, so it felt somewhat rushed overall. There wasn’t really much interaction with the staff, it was more of a “get it made, get it out” kind of vibe. I didn’t hear a greeting or feel a welcoming atmosphere.

What stood out most was how much they’ve scaled back on toppings. One of the main reasons I choose Subway is for the fresh vegetables, but when I asked for things like lettuce, tomatoes, and onions, the portions felt really minimal. That was disappointing and made the sub feel less satisfying.

While things seemed kinda clean and service was alright , the overall experience felt a bit impersonal, and the value just wasn’t what it used to be. I may have to start looking at other options if this is there new way.

Tips if you’re going:
• If you notice they’re light handed with toppings, politely ask for more as it can be very skimpy.
• Keep an eye on what’s going on your sub and don’t be afraid to speak up.
• Prices have gone up, so it’s fair to expect a full, satisfying sandwich. If you feel shorted, you can ask to have it fixed right then.

“Best mixed sub I’ve had in I don’t know how long. Really fresh ingredients and you can’t beat the price or the welcoming and friendly service. Best sub in Hamilton, the only thing that disappoints me is how long it took me to try them.“

There is some type of sauce that is used on the classic banh mi that takes it to a next level.
Loved that there was not an excessive amount of butter as I have experienced elsewhere.

Bread could be a touch fresher or maybe it was just the bum end of the bun.

My wife said that it could be the best banh mi she's ever had.

Friendly owner taking the orders and an old poa-poa making the sandwiches (love it).

Can't complain about the price; $5.50 for a regular classic and $6.50 for extra meat.
Ranks high up on my list of best banh mi after only one visit. Will be back for more.“

With everything that the restaurant industry has been through this year, I went in there today with my daughter for a drink and some cookies. They were so friendly and said they wanted to give my daughter her treat for free. I have been fortunate enough to have not lost my job or taken a pay cut this year. “Every time I come here I think about there subs for weeks because they are THAT good. I ushally get the meatball sub and the meatballs are a generous size, very moist and delicious! The sauce is very tasty and the cheese melts perfectly and tastes so delicious and unforgettable. The owners are very kind and friendly. “Specifically drove to this location, because of the good reviews. And! It didn't disappoint! Good and fast service, even though there was quite a lineup.
This was the first Subway restaurant where I didn't have to ask to double on any vegetables - employee was generously adding all of my picks.
Store was clean, smelled like good old Subway.

I reached out to Chris on short notice to prepare subs for a bus trip with clients and colleagues, and he went above and beyond to ensure our subs were freshly made and not soggy for the trip. Chris baked fresh buns the day before and stayed late in the evening to prepare the subs. He even came in very early the next day to slice the tomatoes and package separate containers for all the extra toppings and sauces. My clients and colleagues were very happy with lunch! “October 4th I went to this location for dinner in the evening. The young lady that worked there was super friendly. As she was making my sub we had a nice conversation. I'm definitely going back and hopefully she will be there. I highly recommend going here!“

“Had a sub at this Mr Sub today and the sub was pretty good, however the lettuce looked old and wilting. Also, the 2 staff members working were somewhat confused with each other and didn't seem to be on the same page when I asked about something regarding the rewards program. This Mr Sub also has a drive through and a ice cream place as well, so it's an interesting location.“
