“The pitas are pretty good however they use vegetable oil to warm up the meat, which I’m sure most people know that seed oils cause inflammation in your body. So I just don’t get my meat warmed up anymore on the grill because I don’t want to eat seed oils! Otherwise the pitas are fresh and healthy overall. The staff is friendly. The place needs a renovation though the chairs are peeling the material off and it looks awful. I like that they use scent free soap in the washroom because I have allergies to scented products. Perfume is also toxic so I don’t want to wash my hands in that!“

“Always a fantastic experience at Mr. Sub Waterdown. Walking into a fast food chain recently has been like stepping into India but not here, you’re greeted by smiling white faces who will serve you the best sub you’ve had in years! The restaurant always has everything in stock and is extremely clean.“

Loved that there was not an excessive amount of butter as I have experienced elsewhere.

Bread could be a touch fresher or maybe it was just the bum end of the bun.

My wife said that it could be the best banh mi she's ever had.

Can't complain about the price; $5.50 for a regular classic and $6.50 for extra meat.

“Ordered through Uber eats. I had a very terrible night tonight as I’m healing from a surgery that makes it very hard to eat regular food items, and I have to be very careful with what I eat. I had a terrible experience from a grocery store hot table and was not able to eat my originally planned dinner. We picked a random location on Uber eats to order from and I’m so very glad it was this one. My food was perfectly cooked and made to order. My boyfriend also ordered a cookie for himself. We were so worried about me getting my food we completely forgot we even ordered a cookie which we did not even notice we forgot until this wonderful location sent another driver back to give us not one, but two cookies for the inconvenience (which again didn’t even notice at that point). There was also a very sweet sticky note put in the bag which was the cherry on top of this above and beyond experience. We ordered through Uber eats so I’m not sure the names of those working tonight, but if you’re working tonight at this location and made an order for “Daniel”, thank you. You very much made this night better for a very emotional human going through a rough time healing from surgery. I hope nothing but great things for you all. We will be making this our regular pita pit, and I will let people know just how great of an experience you made for me tonight.“

With everything that the restaurant industry has been through this year, I went in there today with my daughter for a drink and some cookies. They were so friendly and said they wanted to give my daughter her treat for free. I have been fortunate enough to have not lost my job or taken a pay cut this year. “On Friday, December 16, 2022, at about 3:00 PM, I visited Mr Sub. I watched the fellow prepare a sub for a customer and I thought what a pleasant man. I asked for a catering menu. He didn't know where they were. Instead of just telling me he couldn't find them, he took the initiative and phoned his manager who was able to tell him where to find them. Well done.“

“Always a pleasure to go to the Pita pit. Their staff is always polite, and respectful. Always with a beautiful smile. I had my birthday, and they put all the tables together, gave us balloons, made us pitas, and offered to do anything that we needed. Excellent customer service! Personally I’ve never had anything here that’s been bad, all of the food has been delicious, additionally the price point reflects a lot of places now a days so I don’t find it wildly expensive as some people have stated.

More specifically I will say that their Pulled Pork Poutine is definitely a star on the menu. It’s always FILLED with cheese gravy and pork, which is shocking considering most establishments will skimp out on pulled pork. I’ve also had subs (turkey/philly cheese steak) and Deep fried dill pickles which were also amazing. Truthfully they’re a hidden gem and a little sad I didn’t make the trip to them when I lived a bit further away.

The atmosphere in the shop feels very local, and honestly in a time of pure corporate business it’s nice to see real people behind the counter instead of worker drones. The shop is clean, and has a charm to it. I’ve always been greeted by the workers and feel welcome everytime I order or pickup.“

All the veggies including pickle were old. onions had zero taste. tomatoes with thin n mushy falling apart I gagged and threw it out. wont be having it from this location or the grimsby one either. so disappointing“
