“We were driving up the Bruce Peninsula and saw this roadside restaurant. We stopped and ordered their special “Ontario burger” made with locally sourced ingredients.The lady that took our order explained every single thing. She made sure she got the order right. Her customer service was simply excellent.The beef came from nearby Harriston. 3 year aged cheddar from Mildmay, bacon crumble from Harriston, maple syrup from Clifford and a sesame bun from Gowanstown.The char on the burger was perfect. you could taste the cheese, bacon, and maple syrup in every single bite. It was one of the better hamburgers that I have gotten from a Road Side restaurant in my life. I really appreciate the farm to table approach that even a small business like this can use. we will definitely go back the next time we go through Clifford!“

“Pizza is wonderful from the crust to the fresh toppings. We absolutely devour the Greek salad they make though! So much more than romaine. Very handy to get to and easy to pick up if you're driving by/through/around (Hwy 9). A friendly family-run business that pays attention to details (ingredients, price, quick p/u time, etc).“

“I love this A&W for breakfast sandwiches. They are actually like an egg sandwich I would make at home - a real egg fried on a griddle (in a ring, ok, but some egg slips out under the ring making it more like homemade), good bacon done to a light crisp (not soggy and cold like other joints), and real sliced cheese (not processed cheese slices).. And all hot on an English muffin (my wife prefers the sesame bun, nice to have a choice). And their hash browns tend to be hot and crispy. You have to wait a few seconds linger than other places but I think that's because they are making it fresh and it has not been warming for 15 minutes. Also the drive through is never busy for 5 stars for service.“
