“Today was my first time trying Gluten Free by Suzie. The bread and dinner rolls are to die for! It is so nice to be able to eat regular tasting bread products. I can't wait to go back and try other things!“

“I had these amazing apple fritters for the first time about 7 years ago on our first visit. Had to have them again for the second time last week on Thursday August 11th 2016. Had them with ice cream and maple syrup. Sure wish you could ship, your favourite customers in New Brunswick!“

I’ve been wanting to visit O Hime Cake for a long time, and today I finally got the chance—and it did not disappoint! This place truly lives up to its reputation as one of the best dessert spots in the KWC region.

The cakes are an absolute dream. They strike the perfect balance of sweetness—not too overpowering, but just right. The sponge cake is incredibly fresh and smooth, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture that feels like a treat with every bite. Each flavor is so rich and well-crafted that it’s hard to stop at just one piece.

Beyond the desserts, the ambiance of O Hime Cake adds to the entire experience. The place has such a charming, cozy vibe with a modern yet cute aesthetic that makes you want to linger. The atmosphere is complemented by a soothing fragrance in the air, making the space feel even more welcoming and relaxing.

Overall, O Hime Cake exceeded my expectations. If you're in the KWC area and looking for a delightful dessert experience, this is definitely the spot to visit!

“We go to St Jacobs Market for lunch once a week and always get desserts here - we can’t help ourselves! They are so so good - absolute indulgence without the heaviness or discomfort as I have a sensitivity to dairy. You wouldn’t even know they were gf/df they are so tasty! I am also surprised every time - there is always something new as well so the selection is amazing.“

“I ordered a fruit cake with strawberries and mango for my moms birthday and it was so delicious. The perfect amount of sweetness and the cake was nice and moist with delicious cream in and around it. I would highly recommend this cake to anyone!“

“Biked to St Jacob’s and found this small coffee shop and ice cream place. Had a cappuccino and a slice of the lemon cake, both delicious. The young woman serving was excellent, very friendly and helpful, checked which milk for the cappuccino and gave me a China cup when I told her that I’d stay in. There was a water station too where I could refill my water bottle. I will be back to try some of the breakfast sandwiches .“

“With my sister and her husband new to the neighbourhood, we googled coffee shops near by and came across this delightful place. Very clean, fresh flowers in each table!!, inviting staff and atmosphere, and the food and coffee were great! We’ll be back!“

“These really are the best pretzels. Unbelievably delicious and made fresh right there. Mine came just out of the oven. They have this buttery almost flaky taste to them, something similar to a croissant. $4 seemed like a lot at first but they're pretty big too.“

We tried several croissants. The collection included almond caramel, butter garlic, and tirramisu.

Ovetall, they tasted fresh and very good. The creamy ones were tasteful, and the butter tasted real. they were balanced, not too sweat and at all did not tastr artificial.

We haven't tried the regular croissants, which would serve as a reference.

Finally, they pack the items in a nice box, which can be good as a casual gift.“

“We have been Farm Boy customers for years but the Waterloo location is extra special because of the staff, especially Lou - what a sweetheart!

The quality of the produce and meat is superior to other stores. Every time I end up at a different grocery store I am so disappointed by the awful quality and outrageous pricing. Shop the sales here and you end up ahead. Curry sausages, herb & garlic mayo and sour ju jubes are a must try!“

“Delicious pretzels. Hard to resist, especially because they make the whole mall smell like pretzels. Service could be a bit better, but that doesn’t change the fact that these pretzels are incredible. Especially the vanilla strawberry one.“
