Wendy's in Barrie

“Travelling home from Vancouver to Timmins, we stopped at this Wendy’s for a quick bite. Wendy’s is usually my go-to when travelling, as I find it to be the most consistent across the board among fast food chains. What made this stop particularly excellent was Jack. Jack was the young man working behind the counter who served us. Not only was he fast and efficient, but his communication skills were/are excellent.

As we were eating, Jack came out to the floor to clean the tables and chairs. He then went over to the condiment station, restocking napkins and making sure everything was tidy. He didn’t miss a beat. This young man is an exceptional employee and deserves to be recognized.

Jack somehow managed to make my favourite burger taste even better— maybe that’s just the Jack effect 😆

“I find Wendy’s to be a decent choice when I’m looking for a quick meal. Their baked potatoes, garden salads, and fries are reliable options, and I appreciate that they offer customizable sandwiches if you want to skip the meat. However, compared to other fast-food chains, Wendy’s could definitely expand their vegetarian menu with more plant-based proteins or meatless burger options. Overall, it’s good for a simple meal, but I hope to see more variety for vegetarians in the future.“

“Great Wendy’s that we like to stop at on the way up north. It’s fast food so you know it’s not fine dining but the people are super friendly and the place is clean and service is fast.
I forgot to ask for no mayo on my daughters burger and she was very upset - the lady was very nice and brought her a new top for the bun - made her day

“I was the epitome of obnoxious tonight. I was having a birthday with a bunch of kids who wanted to dress their own burgers. Brandy was the supervisor on staff and she gladly packaged all of the toppings on the side. There were 2 that were gluten free for a little GF guy and I was sure with all the confusing modifications there would be something that went wrong, and I would not have blamed them one bit. Saturday night and a lady comes in with 8,000 modifications. But everything was perfect, she was more pleasant than a lot would have been in that situation and my little guy was super excited to feel like he was working at his own restaurant. 10/10. Thank you to all who helped and I apologize!“
