Located by the waterfront, The Boathouse Seafood Restaurant And Waterfront Patio offers delicious food in paper containers, though some guests prefer the old plastic ones. The sunny deck provides a great vibe and view, but diners should watch out for May flies. The mussels, burger, and salads are highly recommended, along with the flavorful Jambalaya. Great value for the money, with gluten-free options available. It is worth the drive from Pickering for excellent cuisine and outstanding hosting.
The Boathouse is a go-to spot in Belleville, perfect for family outings with consistently delicious food and warm, welcoming service. Seafood lovers will find amazing dishes done right, and the table is always full of fabulous options. A must for travelers heading to Montreal from Toronto, offering awesome food, drinks, and specials—worth the small detour. The waiters are nice, and service is top notch. Visitors have enjoyed their experiences, noting the atmosphere and the service, making it a fantastic choice for special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries. The biscuits are particularly praised, and many recommend getting them with any dish. The patio is a fun spot to enjoy during events like Canada Day, with good food, great service, and fewer bees than most patios in the area.
