“I found this place looking for live entertainment on a Saturday night; they did not have one but it may have been better without a band.Its located 15 minutes away from Blue Mountain.The venue is a renovated Victorian style home. Inside the restaurant is partitioned into three spacious areas with lively conversation everywhere. The crowd was a happy mix of families, friends, dates, seniors etc.The staff were very friendly, professional, attentive and mature - a nice change from the service you may experience in the Village.We cracked a bottle of wine and our table of four tried a good portion of the menu. Started with the pirogies and popcorn shrimp. Mains were the brisket platter, chicken penne, and the two patty Burger with caesar salad and some fries.Only criticism were the desserts were good but I felt there’s some room to improve this part if the experience - an easy fix.Expect to pay a little more but you won’t be disappointed because they’re on par with Village experience.We will be back!”

“It's a takeaway sandwich shop. No better or worse than other sub chains, but a bit more expensive than Mr. Sub, and not as EXPENSIVE as Firehouse!?‍♂️

Parking: Plenty of parking, but BEWARE: like parking in every other CF Base, you must pull into a parking space the rear plate MUST be facing out.?‍♂️”

“To be able to get authentic, tasty Caribbean food in Angus, ON is awesome! Mona's is a take out place. Tonight, hubby had Jerk Chicken with Rice & Peas, and a side of the best Macaroni salad out there. I ordered Curried Chicken, but since it was almost sold out, Mona made me a triple combo of the curry, some curried goat, and some oxtail. It was SO GOOD!! I love all 3 of the salads offered, but my favourite is the macaroni. Big portions too! If you love Jamaican food, you need to visit Mona's!!”

“Asian Yummy One has the best Chinese food I've ever had. Their chicken balls are more chicken than coating. Their soo gai and sauce is absolutely delicious, beef fried rice is perfectly done and flavorful. The house Chop Suey is just as delicious as the rest of their food. I won't order Chinese food from anywhere else.”

A suggestion would be to update the faded outside window decals, we almost missed it driving through as I was not familiar with the area and we’re looking for a place to eat.

“We went to Rocco’s bar for a birthday party on Monday evening. It was absolutely fantastic. We were immediately welcomed by all the lovely people that worked there. Specifically Rose who made sure we had everything we needed. We played pool in their large back room, was given access to the speaker to play our own music and had many good priced beverages. Most notably the incredible food truly made with love. I had the chicken parm sandwich and French fries and it was seriously the best I’ve ever had. Generous portions, fair prices, terrific people and overall outstanding place. I’m going to be returning for Karaoke soon! Thanks Rose and family ❤️”

“This place never disappoints! The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and made just the way you want it. The shawarma is perfectly seasoned, the portions are generous, and everything tastes high quality. What really makes this location stand out, though, is their great staff.
Minerva and Matt are absolutely amazing—friendly, welcoming, and always going the extra mile to make sure customers have a great experience. You can tell they genuinely care about both the food and the people they serve. Thanks to the great atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious meals, this OSMOW’S is easily one of my go-to spots.

“In Allison for a hockey tournament and we enjoyed a delicious late lunch. First time I’ve seen Halloumi cheese made into a sandwich so had to have it. Exceeded my expectations.
