“First time walking in and i got the best vibes. The owner was on a phone call and step[ped out but welcomed me warmly! The older man who made my sandwhich was a delight! Very genuine energy from them all. The Cajun sandwich was made to perfection! The chicken actually tastes like chicken and was seasoned decently. Im sure you could ask for more or less seasoning as its mixed in house. I love that its entirely customizable so you can make it just like you would at home. The produce was really fresh and they keep everything sealed and organized. Not a fruit fly or bug in sight, super clean place overall. I had no idea what to add, and i love a chicken greek salad so that inspired my toppings (mozzarella, feta cheese, lettuce, green peppers, cucumber and tomato) and dressing style (greek feta, olive oil, garlic mayo). I rate it a 9/10, honestly. My total was $20.32, kinda pricey but honestly worth every buck. That price was after I got a 15% discount and added chips and a mango smoothie (the owner said it was a family recipe from their mother, and it smacked!). I'll defintely come back for a sandwhich“

“I cannot say enough good things about Bavneet at the Subway location inside St. Mary’s Hospital in Kitchener. She is genuinely one of the sweetest and kindest people I have ever met.

The very first time we came in about two months ago, she made such a positive impression on my 10-year-old daughter that she now refuses to go to any other Subway location — especially the one on Highland Rd — because she loves seeing Bavneet so much. We now come here at least twice a week, and every single visit we are greeted with the biggest smile and such warm, positive energy.

What amazes me most is that she remembers us and already knows our orders every time we walk through the door. In today’s world, where so many people seem stressed or unhappy, it is honestly so refreshing to meet someone who is consistently kind, patient, and genuinely happy to serve customers.

The restaurant is always spotless, fully stocked with fresh toppings, and Bavneet is always so helpful when explaining the sub of the day or answering any questions we have. She is especially patient and kind with my daughter while she orders, never rushing her and always making her feel comfortable and important.

“I was getting home from work late and my wife called to ask if I'd stop and grab subs. I looked at the time and replied they close in 15 mins but I'll try. So I stopped in at Doon location in Kitchener. I walked in at 945pm they close that night at 10:00pm. I was greeted by a young lady named (Gravinder my deepest apologies if I misspelled her name.) My first words out of my mouth were I'm so sorry I know you close soon but could I grab two quick subs. She kept telling me no worries sir. No worries at all. But being in retail I know the feeling an employee gets when a customer walks in near close. She made our subs to perfection all the while chatting me up while working away. I was in and out in less the 10mins. Who ever the owner is they need to give this young lady a substantial raise in pay. You have a golden employee that most owners/managers would kill for. Treat her well so she doesn't leave as employees like here are exceeding hard to find. Great work and will definitely be back again.“
