Dairy Queen Reviews
We usually stop here while travelling home to Toronto from Dorland (Bay of Quinte). We’ve been doing this about once or twice a month for more than 8 years (May-Oct) The food has always been super fresh/hot. The staff inside and at the drive thru are always so friendly and patient. They even walk over to offer assistance when looking at the ice cream cakes. The washrooms are always clean and well stocked. The staff really and truly deserve kudos for running this place so well....read full review
Best chicken around!
The ice cream was great like always and the service was quick and friendly. I got a medium ice cream cone for my friend and a large hot fudge sundae for myself. They gave me a free cup for the cone and free crushed peanuts because I didn't notice they were extra. Overall a great experience.

Dairy Queen Grill & Chill is a restaurant that offers ice-cream cones and milkshakes, which are reportedly good, especially the strawberry milkshakes. The staff are younger students, so they may be less attentive at times, but they work hard to get orders done quickly and politely. The restaurant serves meals like a $9 cheeseburger and a $10 3-piece chicken strip meal with fries or onion rings, a drink, and a Sunday, which customers find good value. However, there have been issues with cleanliness, as the restaurant and patio are often very dirty, with overflowing garbage and dirty tables. A slipping hazard was noted from paper bags on the floor behind the cashier. The staff is local and friendly, but the restaurant needs better support with cleaning, which appears to be a managerial responsibility. Parking is limited with approximately 12-14 spots, and it is a kid-friendly place, mainly for ice cream. Some customers felt uncomfortable when staff used informal terms like ‘hun’ and expressed disappointment over melted ice cream and small chicken strips. Overall, the restaurant is a popular spot for ice cream and quick meals but needs improvements in cleanliness and staff support.
