The food is exceptionally high quality, healthy, and rich in flavour — truly the best I’ve had in the GTA. We do tend to spend a lot when we go, but the quality consistently matches the price.“

“I was looking for Mediterranean food in Vaughan Area and my lucky time send me to Mr. Nick Grill.
It is the best food, service very nice and friendly.
The plate was created so beautifully and all the ingredients fresh, tasty and healthy.

“Foods not greasy, lots of chicken, kind of surprising. Not the lazeez experience I know. Was a little pissed that extra garlic sauce would have a surcharge, but they are extremely generous with the normal garlic sauce amount.

Service was good, place is a little basic. If you're looking for a good lazeez, go here. If you're looking for the trashy lazeez experience (dry chicken, greasy food) this would not be it.“

“Was invited here by some friends on Saturday and everything was great. The place is so cozy and the food was phenomenal. Our waitress Theresa was great and explained to us the menu options and what they were.
If you’re looking for a quiet, cozy and amazing Middle Eastern food this is your place.
Will definitely be coming back.

“As a Chinese I never try Middle East food before, so today I choose here and it really surprised me. The desert (I dunno the name , that triangle one) is really sweet and tasty, it have some chopped nuts inside too. And the beef salad is tasty too, u can also add topping inside and choose the sauce U prefer. Highly recommend!“

“Ordered a take out from this place today. The food was great. I am picky with Turkish food since I find it to often be dry but I had no issues with this place. There was an error with my order with one major item missing. The owner fully refunded me and made sure the order made its way to me. Mistakes happen sometimes and how owners handle them is the true measure of customer service. I will definately order from this restaurant again.“

“Absolutely loved the chef’s menu option - so many delicious signature dishes to try. We started with a selection of dips and yummy bread with zaatar spice. Then delicious salad with persimmon, unbelievable tuna tartar in lettuce wraps, beet salad that was to die for. And finally - branzino grilled to perfection and a rack of lamb. We finished off with an incredible pistachio desert that was not too sweet and just the perfect end to a beautiful meal. The drink recommendations were excellent too. Healthy, beautifully-presented meal and the quantity was generous for $100/pp. Wonderful service and atmosphere! Highly recommend.“

“I got take out last night, rushing to eat before work (salad and chicken shawarma sandwich). It tasted odd... shortly after,, I called the location to tell them, something was off with the ingredients. I wasn't sure of it was the onions, turnips etc. something was left out too long perhaps... and today I am sick as a dog. I've eaten here before. I think they need better quality control on the food... especially being safely stored.. perhaps temperatures..etc“

Every time I come in, he makes sure the food is fresh, well-seasoned, and made exactly how I like it. I also want to highlight Berj, who’s always welcoming behind the counter and keeps the place running smoothly. Both of them create a great atmosphere.

“I was a single diner but unfortunately there was a 20-30 minute wait at the door due to the restaurant being fully booked. However, I noticed bar seats and decided to dine at the bar. Shamin greeted me with no hesitation and quickly took my appetizer order which to my surprise came out very fast. The portions are on the larger scale, can definitely be sharing plates. I also ordered the lamb chop dish with basmati rice and apparently received more than what was expected of the plate. Overall I had a great dining experience the food is excellent, high quality, fresh ingredients and extremely tasty. Thank you Shamin for your stellar service!“

“What a delightfully unique spot! When you first walk in, the layout and decor might catch you off guard — a little quirky, a little unexpected — but that’s part of the charm. There are a few cozy tables up front, and more tucked away past the grill in the back.

We stopped in for breakfast and were absolutely delighted. Nothing over the top, just a classic, comforting plate of sausage and eggs, prepared with real care. The eggs were cooked to perfection, and the fresh fruit on the side was a lovely touch.

I have been going to their neighbors with my parents since I was a 5-year-old kid, namely the Burger Joint beside them. Today I decided I was going to eat healthy. I read the reviews and decided I would try s i d o. A couple of the reviews that I read were bang on accurate. This is a one-off family-type place but has more of a homemade feel to the menu than the Shawarma franchise places. When you are running a one-off place you have to build a loyal customer base or you won't survive these days I see why they have been able to do this. Have generous portions in most places today really cheap out on the protein they do not do that here as for the part that you do not eat which is customer service they are absolutely outstanding somebody referenced an older guy and a younger guy well the older guy is about my age and he was one of the nicest people I have ever dealt with. Did I have a background in the people business, public relations and media, therefore I understand this part of things. They were telling me when I started asking questions because I've done business consulting, that they have customers coming all the way from Aurelia that are regulars. As I mentioned, do you know how many Shawarma places they must pass to get here? And there is definitely a reason for that. I will now be a regular and I will not have to feel guilty when I eat food that tastes good. And I won't have to punish myself with an extra half hour on the recumbent bike at the gym“

“I visited Lazeez Shawarma twice today and had very different experiences. In the morning, the oil quality seemed off. The fries tasted old and not fresh, which affected the overall meal. However, when I returned in the evening around 8 PM, the oil quality was noticeably better and the fries tasted fresh and much improved.

It would be great if the quality could stay consistent throughout the day, because when it’s good, it’s really good. Consistency matters.“

“Really delicious chicken wrap, peaceful environment, and on top of that I have never visited any shop in my life whose owner (the uncle) is as excellent and full of wisdom as him. Also, the parking was not congested when I visited on a weekend evening, so there is good space to park in my experience. The owner is very honest as well, unlike some other businesses that like to put paid and fake ratings.“
