“How is it possible, for the Tim Hortons and McDonald's 1 minute away from this dairy Queen, allowed to breath the same air as this dairy Queen. Not only do they make every order right, but they manage to make full blown meals faster than I can get a grilled cheese from Tims. They are friendly, and efficient. At least 50% of the time, McDonald's and Timmie's does something to piss me off but this dq only knows how to make me happy. Props to dq“

Yes. Funnel cakes!!
Other then that. The burgers are good but they have additional prices for specific toppings and tomato, lettuce, onion that was available for free.
So a bit nickel and diming. But otherwise the food is ok. Wish the patties were a bit thicker but they tasted fresh so that's a plus.

Did I mention funnel cakes. Yes, sugary and huge and tasty.“

“First time going to this Harvey’s and let me tell you, it’s been about 5 years since I’ve been to one and it did not disappoint. Had two bacon and ketchup hot dogs and saved the other fries for my dad. The people there were really nice to give me a bag to go but on top of that they added napkins in there and I didn’t think of that so fantastic above and beyond service here. If you’re looking for a Canadian classic place to eat, this is definitely a stop you should consider. Also love smelling the grilled burgers in there, yum!“

“Kudos to the Manager on duty on July 13th. I ordered from Uber Eats and there was an error with my order. The Uber Eats menu had the wrong description for the item I ordered and therefore I received something I wasn’t expecting. I called the restaurant and the Manager took the time to figure out what happened and offered to replace my meal even though it was not an error on their end. This is excellent customer service. The food was great regardless of the change. Thank you Hampton Bar and Grill 🙏🏻“

“We have been ordering from Wing House Express since they opened. The convenience is great as we live in the neighbourhood. However, our last few orders have been lacking quality and customer service. Recently we ordered the game day special, and we were surprised by the lack of onion rings in our order (past orders they have been full to the top), this order would be suitable for one person, not two. We also did not get our dipping sauces, that come with the meal. By the time we realized, it was too late, and my husband didn't want to walk back. The food is amazing, we just wish the quality would improve.“

“Wow. The food is great, fresh and spiced to perfection. The chicken was tender and juicy while the gyro is so full of flavour I had to stop myself from just eating that. Thankfully the Veggies were so good I got distracted again and almost ate just those. Left completely full and feeling light. Oh and the cheese cake is a must have.“

“Me and my boyfriend came in a couple days ago and sat near the bar, I think our servers name was Brad? Our server was amazing, he always made sure we had everything even though it looked like he was running the place with how busy he was. We got the fajitas to share because we were on our way to the movies, and they were amazing! Compliments to the chef! Brad was so warm and welcoming, we never saw him without a grin on his face! He also gave some really good cocktail recommendations, I had a delicious blue drink (I forget what it's called lol) and my boyfriend got a lime margarita which was even better than my drink. Overall it was a great experience, with our amazing server making it that much more spectacular. We will be back for the warm and fun atmosphere that Brad created for us. “I visited Not too Shabby during the official Grand Opening. They specialize in Tamil slider burgers. They also have some fusion dishes on the menu. The space is bright and filled with amazing artwork.
I tried a couple different sliders and all were delicious. I'll definitely be back to try some of their other dishes!“

“We are in town for a robotic competition which ended pretty late on a Saturday, so there are not many dining options left, luckily we found the Rumour Mill from Google map which opens late.

Live music is on Fri & Sat after 9 and the vibe is great. Lots of locals seem to know the spot and come here for the show.

Food is as you would expect from a pub, portions are huge and we have half a sandwich left for lunch the next day!“

“Quick friendly service. I got the BH Angus combo with a poutine and root beer through the drive through with one person in front and behind me. Only had to wait a few minutes and I was on my way. The burger was very filling and the poutine was ok, no complaints here. I should have ordered the fried jalapeño burger instead so ill give it a try next time. Give it a try if you're looking for a quick and filling bite to eat. I paid 21.46 for everything“

Food was delicious. Had the eggs Benedict and it did not disappoint. Food was fresh, served with a side of fried potato. Absolutely outstanding, did not expect this.

Service was pretty good. Sat ourselves and a waitress came over immediately to start the order. Food was underway within minutes, plates and back out in 5 to 20 minutes or so. Staff was friendly.

Atmosphere is a touch dingy. Really my only complaint. They had live music, and plenty of good characters and company. Menus were a touch sticky but not terrible.

“Me and my wife live in town and have our burgers regularly at A&W Bowmanville. This store is always kept impeccably clean, staff is courteous with ultimate effort to provide quality service. This store is by far the best kept A&W in the whole region. Jatinder, the manager goes the extra mile to keep clients satisfied with the quality of service and often asks our feedback on how their performance was. He is a unique and hand on manager, setting an example to his staff and makes a great name for this store. We couldn't as for a better service and we I'll remain a loyal customer as long as it takes.

“I love Hanc's Fries. Long time staple of my old home town for probably 50 years of changes of venue and chip trucks/trailer but they have always been the best fries around to be found though mine are pretty awesome too. The Hanc's were a few doors down from my growing up and I'm proud of having been a tiny part of the history of these historically well known and appreciated fries and family now there's more great food available and not just their awesome fries. Go check them out if your looking for a French fry truck while out travelling or don't feel like cooking, you won't be disappointed.“

“Great quality food , service is passable but really by a very little. The girls at the cash often feel like they do not want to be there . And I had an experienced where one of them made a mistake on my order and that is fine mistakes happen but when I told her that was not what I ordered she was not nice or apologetic at all instead she was arguing saying that was what I ordered. I always order the same thing and simply did not make a fuss about it , I simply reordered what I wanted . I really did not make a scene I just wanted what I ordered. But there was no reason to be so rude to me … So next time just apologize and remember to be nice to people it is your job after all!“
