The staff were nice and polite, which made the visit pleasant, though I felt the food quality could be a bit better, as it didn’t quite match the freshness and flavour I’ve experienced at other Popeyes before.“

“Waffle fries are great!

Not like your traditional fast-food chain of restaurants. They have an actual person taking your order in a booth, its more personable!

As they take your order, you pay for it right there. You drive around the building to grab your order. One of the team members walks your order out to your vehicle.

First-time experience, it was nice. Maybe having a secondary person taking orders simultaneously would be beneficial as we were in a long line.
This location seems to have the capabilities for this suggestion to exist.

Overall, it was a great experience.

“1st time in Whitby. Came along this gem of a DONAIR place. Don't want to start a trademark battle w a common fast food chicken place but DOWN EAST DONAIRS are FINGER LICKING GOOD. Actually went back for more for a late nite snack, or a donair breakfast in the AM. Staff was friendly and fun to talk with while prepping food BOTH TIMES!!!!! In the words of a famous US leader, "WE SHALL RETURN".“

“Don't buy anything from the Mary Browns in Oshawa at King St and Gibbons St. just north of the Oshawa Shopping Center. The past owner were of Asian nationality and the Chicken quality was top notch, and really fresh and hot. The new owners are east Indian nationality. Now, every piece of chicken has broken bones and blood throughout the meat. And it's not cooked properly, and soggy. Smells like the cooking oil was old as well. The staff was uninterested in working there, very sad employees.“

“Went in for lunch yesterday ordered a chicken shawarma. Delicious fresh and made by a wonderful friendly and kind gentleman. Enjoyed it so much today I brought my son in and everything was perfect ! “Great food, service is a mix for me. Sometimes they are ELITE and other times it's umm bad? I can't explain it but you just feel that's it off and ur food is not handled with care unlike the other service times.

Atmosphere is surprisingly okay even though the tables aren't usually clean and extremely packed.“

I also opted to try their Ghost Pepper Pop Ins Poutine. Size wise kind of small for the price but it was flavored well and the sauce was superb. I quite enjoyed this and would order it again“

“Harvey’s is the same. Not the best burger in town but better than Macdonald’s or Burger King. Good selection. And the staff are reasonably trained to understand English just speak slowly and let them repeat your order two or three times.
All in all not a bad place just a normal fast food burger place with a novelty menu.
