There’s always “wow” factor when your meal is served. It could be breakfast/brunch, late lunch or early dinner. Compliments to the chef Kuya Rico and his sweet wife, Ate Marlene. “My family and I, went to Bangku for lunch as it is my Mom's birthday. I was born here in Canada but this place makes it feel like I was born in the Philippines. We ordered three different dishes and everything was cooked fresh and made to perfection. We received large portions which made our money's worth! Customer service here was top notch and everyone was so nice. My family and I will certainly be back at least once every week! Definitely a 10/10!“

“I ran in there just to get a quick bite I got one lumpia which is a Filipino spring roll and one chicken barbecue. spring roll was nice and full with fresh vegetables and the chicken barbecue was phenomenal, juicy and the sauce was delicious, mind you I only got two items but i definitely will be coming again. Some will put too much salt in everything and others make things with different ingredients or amounts. It’s a gamble what you get.*

“My friend and I had a delicious Filipino breakfast of House Pork Sausage with fried eggs and garlic rice at this tiny eatery near Bathurst and College. Also shared some scrumptious fried chicken. Everything that we ordered from the small menu was very good. Service was very attentive, courteous and friendly. Because this restaurant is quite small in size and limited in seating, we suggest that you go early to avoid the need to wait for a seat. That said, BBs is well worth a trip. Highly recommended.“

“This is food that will make you smile as you eat. My delivery was packaged so carefully, and you can tell they take pride in their food. Everything I ordered was absolutely incredible; the lumpia are crisp, the pork adobo is flavourful and juicy. I loved that the cassavanova (dessert) was packaged individually so that you can 'build it yourself' and enjoy each bite of the different flavours. I feel like this didn't just feed my belly, it went right to my soul ♥️ thank you!!!!“

“I've been going here since they were located on King Street. During the pandemic, their old landlord doubled their rent and forced them to move. I'm glad the continue to survive on Queen Street.I don't eat meat very often anymore so I don't go as often but their meat is EXCELLENT. It's a classic combo of being savory and sweet.Not food related but they also donate much of their food to a good cause and they use recyclable containers for those ordering out.“

“I’ve been waiting for good elevated Filipino cuisine and it’s finally here! Traditional ingredients and flavours mixed in with modern twists. All the plates were surprising yet nostalgic at the same time. Dishes were served by the chef himself too. My only critique was the crispy pata skin was a tad tough but this is an easy fix. As a Filipino I’m glad to see our cuisine highlighted in fine dining. Can’t wait to see more from Kusinero.“
