“We stopped here looking for lunch on our way back to Guelph. Great fish and chips. Super nice owner, he had us laughing. My only critique would be it would be awesome to include even a little container of coleslaw with the fish and chips but that’s it.“

“Wow, this is the best. Fish & Chips I have ever had, and I’ve eaten a lot of fish and chips. The fish was nice and light and flaky and the batter was absolutely perfect. Not that heavy coating that feels like you’re trying to go through a loaf of bread to get to the fish but a nice light batter cooked golden brown. I ordered two pieces of the halibut because I was really hungry and I’m so glad I did. I would’ve been disappointed if I’d only had one piece because it was so good. Fantastic french fries and onion rings. We also enjoyed the coleslaw, which was excellent as well. If you’re anywhere near Golden Fish & Chips, you’ll definitely wanna stop by.“
