As well in this day and age when businesses cannot find staff Naz has an endless supply of dedicated friendly happy staff so that is saying something. She even inspired...helped a former staff member to start his own restaurant that is a great success. He learned from the best.
Now the food....beyond delicious fresh tasty truly authentic Indian food. Treat yourself to an evening at Lotus you will become a happy regular!!”

“Just finished a great dinner at Portage House. Our first time in and we were not disappointed. The chicken soulvaki was delicious and portion size was enormous. You will not leave hungry!
The restaurant has cozy cottage lake vibe and everyone was very friendly.

“They’re always really good about their gluten free burritos. They make sure to wrap them up and heat them separate from the gluten tortillas. I don’t get sick when I eat here which is not typical for takeout meals. 4 stars is for good gluten free practices :).”

“Last week I had the chance to try a lb of your wings with "Grady's Ghost" sauce. I've had a lot of very spicy wings in my life and this sauce was one of the few times I've ever considered tapping out! I had tears running down my face, snot running from my nose and I LOVED every bite! Whoever is making that sauce deserves the HIGHEST of fives! Anyone who gets this should wash their hands a minimum of twice after eating them. Don't ask me how I know that! If you love HOT wings, you need to try this flavour!”

“I went to a wedding here recently. Had a great time! It's a fairly intimate venue with good food and drinks. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The second floor view makes for a perfect backdrop.”

“I have been driving past Ryan’s for years on the way to the cottage and finally decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. There is no dine in area but that really is not a problem. The people in the kitchen are no nonsense types but still friendly and they make sure you get what you want.

I ordered a classic cheeseburger with fries. The burger was perfect, the bun was fresh, and I could not have been happier. The fries were golden brown, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Exactly the way they should be.

It was a really nice meal on Highway 35 and I definitely recommend stopping in. As a side note, they put their vinegar in spray bottles which I thought was pretty cool because it gave my fries a perfect even coating.”

“It's no longer dine-in so they have to see you at the door or you can knock to place your order. Combo 1 was enough to split for my wife and I at lunch. It was under $14 (cash) which is the same price as a Big Mac combo but much more nutritious and delicious!”
